You can remove the SOV without removing the manifold. Remove windshield washer bottle to give you room. Push the U shaped white clamps on the fuel lines forward with your thumb on the bottom of the U to release them. 2 T30 torx bolts hold the SOV. My O ring was flattened just like his. Replaced with new O ring and it solved the problem. I did not replace the O rings on the fuel lines because Im cheap. Had to crank it 2-3 minutes to get it to restart. $3 O ring and 2 hours of my time. Good luck w yours.
after replacing this o-ring, it was perfectly dry, no leak or odor of fuel...biodiesel did destroy it in approximately 6 months...it really needs VITON o-rings if you run biodiesel...good luck with yours...have a nice day.
For me the air bubbles where still coming after i replace all new lines around the pump. After this we find next to the filter InSite where the line comes ,there was down inside also 1o ring and that was the solution.
Hey. I have an S300 td. I also changed that plastic thing like 1 year ago. But at the end of the hose going in the plastic part is that yellow clasp . And 1 of them is broken. How it is called ? Do u know where i can find such a thing? Or i have to change the whole hose? Please help me

First off, thank you for your videos. I just have a small request, how do you remove the intake manifold? I am also having the same fuel leak, I believe it is coming from under the shut off valve.
there are 4 screws under the manifold the 2 on the drivers side i used a 1/4" small ratchet with the inverted socket on a 1/4 to 3/8 adapter. the trick was to hand tighten those two screws asafar as possible before using the ratchet. the other 2 screws are from under the car, lots of extensions put together the reach the screws. i found it was easier to do the rear passenger side first and the front passenger last.
I have a diesel e250 I had the problem of fuel leakage from the fuel shutoff valve So i opened the side piece of the valve and replaced the o ring inside it Also while i was at it i replaced all the o rings of the lines it costed to me a day's labour and 15 INR rupees
My 1997 mercedes e300 160km had a shutoff valve fail and a huge fuel leak happened and at least a liter of fuel came out in seconds, I replaced the shutoff valve and now the very bottom fuel line is leaking slowly. It costs $220 at the shop to replace "all" the lines, is it worth it? because i dont want to take off the intake for one fuel line or O ring replacement and then another goes in a couple months.Is it worth to pay $220 and get them fixed at once? i dont think they ever been replaced
hi sur. i am trying to repair my fathers car. c250 turbodiesel 1998. He had accidet 12 year ago. motor not run 12 years and no battery in the car.. i try start today but could not start with the key. so i bridge the starter and see a lot of bubles in the line to and from the filter. i open the 14 mm screw on top off injector but nothing comes out. i go ask mekanic and he say that the pump get no signal for send fuel to injectors. are you able to help me , or somebody to solve this problem? the key is the new style key. it is model w202 facefift. thaks in advannds. geert from belgium.

Absolutelly. Its recommended to replace all those o-rings together at once. Many people replaced one, and were back fixing another leak month later.

Removing intake manifold on this engine is problematic, i couldn't film it for you guys, because problematic or no access for camera. Sorry.

I had the same problem as that one. I replaced all the plastic fuel lines, and it worked. The dealer was the cheapest to get those fule lines..

they are there in the open you dont have to take the intake manifold off
