Nice video, but you missed the overhand adjust which should be done firstly and before reach the null points! When both overhand and null points are properly set, you can achive the best of your cartridge and tonearm!
The one job I let a professional do. That’s fitting the Cartridge to a tone arm . The last time I did it went close to killing my cartridge. I do set up weights & occasionally checked alignments . I was literally tearing my hair out too the last time.
How do you determine if the overhang is correct? According to the manual for my turntable, it says the overhang is 15mm. But the question is, 15mm from what point? I have one of those turntables that has a one-piece tonearm (Music Hall mmf-2.2).
I appreciate it all these informations it helped me a lot.
Nicely done! Very informative.
Top tip put a sewing needle through the protractor card on the spots so the tip of your cartridge stylus sits in and doesn't move about.
Very useful. Thank you for sharing it!

Dear Larry. Thank you for your trust. It's 15mm from the axis. Regards,
I think it's the distance the stylus is beyond the pivot to center spindle arc.
Thats the way you do it
