  • @gapface_2552
    @gapface_2552 4 ปีที่แล้ว +80

    We’ve gotta get over the whole “my 4c hair can’t “ people, STRETCHING is KEY!! Consistent stretching through four or more consistently moisturized and protected braids (especially your regular cornrows!) does wonders for my hairs! You can better wash, detangle, Deep condition and etc. when your hair is stretched! You’ll see how much more manageable your hair is and it will thank you for keeping it neat and moisturized as you should. If you don’t see results in simple routines like this it’s time to ask, “I’ve tried but have I truly been consistent?” Most likely not! Trust me I have very naturally course hair! Keep product to a minimum and try to focus 1 or 2 natural oils (not essential oils!) on your plaited ends and a bit on your scalp and all around your edges. Think Easy, Efficient, and simple hair Needs!

      I have come to the realization that I need to keep my hair stretched. I’m a type 4bc and probably 2-3 inches from waist length. I recently did a Silk press and my hair has been so easy to manage that I’ve been dreading washing my fro back in. I know now that I can’t leave my hair out in it’s kinky state for more than a day. It just becomes too tangled.

    Hi Tia, I absolutely love your tutorial. I've been following you for a while on Facebook, your silly sense of humor is hilarious and genuine, I love it. I think we would get along great if we ever cross paths. As far as my method of choice when I straighten my hair, well it is very similar to your method. The only difference is I do the tension stretch. What I do is run my fingers through my hair with a leave-in conditioner, detangler and I will Platt or section my hair for box braids. Then I let it air-dry but before I even start that process I always, always deep condition my hair. It gives it more moisture and also loosens my curls to help it to be more manageable. I make my own deep conditioners at Home and the deep conditioner timing can be as long as you would like. It can be for an hour or you can leave it in while you're doing chores up to 4 hours. Depending on the ingredients you can even sleep in it. Honestly can say that you can dish it ain't me has made a major difference and how my hair looks for the finishing product and it helps my hair to last longer. I look forward to your next tutorial, God Bless & I hope that this blesses someone on their natural hair Journey.

    This reminded me of that episode of sister sister when Tia decided to do her own hair . For some reason I got nervous , then remembered it was just a show and she knows what she's doing. 😂

    I have thick a** 4c hair and this worked on my hair just fine. It took a while but it worked!!!! Everyone’s hair is different but a professional will be able to do this to your hair if you can’t achieve this look.
