To be fair, Buttigeg is right that there's a lot of infrastructure work involved in getting charging stations set up. That being said, he should've talked about the infra projects and their progress so we got a handle on the total % completion of the project. I don't expect that to be high either. Our infra is simply incapable of handling mass EV adoption without wide spread adoption of significant technological adaptation to cope with the massive electrical usage, fire risk, low reliability, and long charge times. $8 billion is a drop in the bucket for the cost of an actually plausible EV plan.
What is worse is that the Biden people will then make a plug that does not work with any current car and them mandate that for all new production. That plug will belong to a single company, who will then sell to all the makers for a fixed price. Guess where the profits will go?

The Democratic Party - where race, gender and sexual orientation are considered “qualifications”.
But he he's a gay parent so what's the problem?
This whackadoodle was incompetent when he got hired and he's MORE incompetent today. HOW is that even possible??
By doing absolutely nothing and stealing from taxpayers.
Are there any sane people in Obidens administration?
Did he answer the question? NOT!
When you appoint as transportation secretary an individual who has zero real-world transportation experience.......
I know. Smooth as a gravy sandwich. Not.
Maybe they can only build one at a time? You know Pete would say it's racist if these are not built in black communities. You know, where all the EV's are.
Yes, it would be racist to build public infrastructure only in white communities. Did you just wake up from a coma since the 1950s or something?
The fact that people vote Democrat absolutely boggles my mind.
In other words we’re stealing your money.
Exactly!!!!!
Explains how politicians get so rich from just public service.
“Those seven or eight have already been built”…..
This is textbook gaslighting.
How can they not know if it's 7...or 8? Our government can't even count 7 or 8...and we wonder why billions are "lost" or "missing".
Blah. Blah, blah.
I've got one word for him: Solindra
Its called government embezzlement
From you and I.
Government ruins everything. We need to push for LESS government always and everything will work best.
The fleecing of America on live TV and he is proud of himself!
More stuff we gotta undo when the cavalry arrives in November. I bet they take the Ts off all the typewriters.

The daily jesus devotional has been a huge part of my transformation, God is good 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻was owning a loan of $47,000 to the bank for my son's brain surgery (David), Now I'm no longer in debt after I invested $12,000 and got my payout of m $270,500 every months,God bless Christy Fiore🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸..*
Hello!! how do you make such monthly, I’m a born Christian and sometimes I feel so down of myself 😭 because of low finance but I still believe God
Thanks to my co-worker (Carson ) who suggested Ms Christy Fiore
Can I also do it??? My life is facing lots of challenges lately
So nice to see Christy Fiore talked about here, her good works are speaking already, and like wildfire she's spreading.
Hallelujah! God still works wonders, I place myself in position for such miracles and testimonies 🙏
The Hiney poker is a joke.
The important thing is that a GAY. Man was given an important position. It doesn't matter he has no qualifications for the job!

What were Trump's qualifications? Or Jared? Ivanka? Bankrupt casinos, bailouts from the sauds, China deals.... Facts matter and work both ways folks.
Leave Mayor Pete alone...he's still chest feeding!
Joe Biden picked gay Pete
Long term postpartum.
Calling Mayor Pete a "dingbat" is just scratching the surface.
It requires utility work to hook up to fossil fuel power stations.
You can’t make this stuff up. 🤦🏼♂️
Nobody is making it up. It requires utility work to hook up charging stations to the power stations that provide that power. Are you arguing otherwise?
I always have to remind myself that some folks on TH-cam are on summer break...

@@alexanderhalavais8837 You might want to get educated on reading comprehension. Apparently yours is lacking. Good luck
@@GodBlessedAmerica Again, I'm done with my formal education, after earning a Ph.D. My reading comprehension is fine.
I've simply asked you to explain yourself clearly, but you are unwilling or unable to do so. Perhaps you don't actually have anything to say.
Either way, I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt, assuming you are young and unaccustomed to explaining a position clearly. I could help you clarify your thinking and your communication, but I can't teach you to be civil. That's your parents' job, and I hope they are up to it. Best of luck!
More money laundering
Yes! but the 7 EV charging stations he built has a rainbow flag!
Well, of course.
and only two are operational
It's called theft.
Who benefited on that money?

How did Musk install 2300 super chargers for 500 Million dollars?????
He does not suffer fools. Keep in mind after dieselgate, Volkswagen (Electrify America) had to pay for many of these and Volkswagen knows EVs aren't the cash-cows ICE car are due to their minimal maintenance. It's a very complicated subject involving burocracy not just federally but also based on the fact that many of America's wealthy own car dealerships that make huge amounts of money on car repairs and can slow permits and put up roadblocks due to their contributions and influence. (Im a lefty and I own a short range EV so these are not Fox-News talking Points).
Buttiplug is a joke. He was not even a good mayor of a small town.
Why are taxpayers paying for charging stations?
Good question!!!
That’s right, I don’t think we’re paying to put up gas stations.
For the same reason we are paying for an interstate highway system. The US invests less in infrastructure than most developed countries and as a result we are falling behind in competitiveness.
They Built 7 so far in 4 years just over 1.5 a year. So in the next 6 years they will be able to build 499 993 stations. MMMMMM
So it took 3 years for 7 or 8 and, we are going to build 499,992 more in 6 years. Yup, so believable.
In what way does idiocy like this qualify in any form as an investment?
Im a Technology EXPERT and took PhD Physics coursework at Purdue University and worked 34 years building the most advanced ionizing radiation detectors to measure nuclear weapons and Special Nuclear Material. This Transportation boondoggle is a complete waste of taxpayer money!!
Pete Buttigieg net worth 2021 = $250K
Pete Buttigieg net worth 2025 (est) = $7.5 million
And we know WHERE he got that money. FROM THE TAXPAYERS 🤮
Did he give 10% to the big guy?
@@danmeadows3859 In 2021, Forbes estimated Buttigieg's net worth at roughly $750K. (Elaine Chao--Trump's appointee--was worth over $20 million, having worked in government almost her entire life.)
By 2023, based on his audited financials, he is worth no more than $706,990.
So, where is your data from? How did he get the extra $7 million? And how is it you know his net work for next year?
I mean, unless that's just BS. Is that just BS?
I'd love to see the accounting behind those numbers to justify spending 7bil on 7 stations. Insane
Well, they do have overhead. 🤔
Just like all the other money laundering scams.
Solyndra: $570 million tax dollars wasted
Abound Solar: $401 million tax dollars wasted
Calisolar: $280 million tax dollars wasted
Fisker Automotive: $193 million tax dollars wasted
Never any accountability.
This is at a much bigger scale, as is the Ukraine war money. This isn't millions, this is billions.
