Freaking Tamagotchi Connections!?! Really!?!? Those are my absolute favorite lines of Tamagotchi. And my first was a P1 growing up, but when I fully got into Tamagotchi it was V3/V4 that really stole my heart!!! I truly would be to thrilled and ecstatic to have one again. I'm 30, born in '93. So this is really really nostalgic for me. I hope that we will get this!!!
I would be happy to see any of the connection series come back… those were my ultimate favorite. Especially considering how hard it is getting something like a v4.5, music star, and familitchi is nowadays.
I keep telling people I am going to make a video but I haven't figured out how to do it. Last time I was able to put them all out on the table. Now I have so much lol

I was born in 1999, so I was 5 when I got my connection V1. Somehow that thing survived at least ten years in my parents attic and I rediscovered it last year and play it again. My V4 I got a few years later is probably lost though. I recently got a uni and enjoy it, though a connection re release would be so great. I have some font memories of playing mine and connecting it with my sisters

Coming here today, the announcement is tomorrow 5/13/2024!!! There've been some leaks from a Mexico Tamagotchi event and there are V3 tamagotchi teasers coming out. It's looking like the V3 will be announced tomorrow, guess we'll see!

I'd love to see a connections rerelease but I'm not holding my breath. I've slowly accumulated one of each version so I'm not needing them for my collection but I'd love to see some cool new shells, the connection era had the BEST shells!! By the way, your hair is so pretty in this video!

Yes! I got back into them when they released the minis in 2018. I honestly don't remember how I stumbled on them, but then I was searching for information and found the Meets. I was dreaming about a Meets in 2019 when the On was announced. I was so excited. What a good time to get back into the brand :)
love this style of video! you’re really great at long form video jill. i’ve been loving the connection series and agree that a dlc for the uni would make the most sense. i’m hoping they release some connection models though because they have so many shell releases of the originals.

I have found one in 2008 that hooks up with your PC and DS! It looks so cool and it even had a microphone to talk to your tama and play voice activated games, you could tell it to open your Email or files and it just looks so exciting even to me today, it even uses a disk!

honestly, i'm so desperate for connection content that i'd be happy with even uni DLC! but i'd absolutely love a re-release, the connections were my favourite tamas! i still have some of them! i just wish the re-releases would be rechargeable with a usb-c like the unis
I’d be fine with a Connection themed DLC for the Uni. I’m not particularly nostalgic for the Connection as I was born in 1990 and had the original Tamas as a kid. But I am enjoying the Uni and more characters added is always a good thing. Also, a Halloween DLC with all spooky characters for the Uni is my dream.
I got my P2 back in the 90s as a pre-teen, so the Connections aren't nostalgic to me (I had other interests/hobbies/obsessions at that time lol) but having recently gotten back into Tamagotchi (collecting even!) I'd love a rerelease of the Connections. That said, I'm similar to you, on the fence as to whether Bandai will actually bother. Fingers crossed though!

If they do release the connections (which I think would be a smart move because they would sell so much!) I see it happening more next year when they're not so busy with new Uni devices and dlc releases, since we're getting the Sanrio in july and possibly the Angel and Monster later on. Or maybe we'll have to wait for their 25th anniversary...

I really want a connection... i have a gen 1 & gen 2 (release versions)... a uni... a pix... and i have a friends coming. Im also bidding on an angel gotchi 🤞... My next hopes for my collection would be a connection (any version from the past to start me off) and an on... but the prices are crazy.
I LOVE the Tama Connections! The V3 will always be my very favourite Tama ever made. Don't get me started about my broken heart when Tama Town closed. Tama Connections restarted my love for these little toys, and that's when the collection bug finally bit me, even though I had the older versions from 1997. I hope, hope, HOPE this will happen!
you would have loved collecting in the early 2000's. tamas on sale at walmart/kmart/target for extremely cheap. man it was great. i got my 4.5 PC edition for $15. so freaking awesome. miss those days. and of course japan had all the cool weird niche tamas, like the odenkun and the hanerutchi. wish i could go back in time. the v2, v3 and v4.5 are my favorite versions. i got the bulk of my collection back then. it was a good time for collecting because prices hadn't skyrocketed yet.

I completely understand. I would love to have my v3 and v4 back 😭😭😭 they are worth hundreds now. Some. I've been running my Uni and my ON (I love the mix gene option and just feel like there is so much more you can do on the ONs/Meets/Somes yes, I have all versions of ON. I love them lol). I love the Uni and hope we will get some more DLC like the 1996 Friends for the Smart etc. (Which I also have. I always get doubles of every Tama I buy so if something happens I have a extra or just because I don't like messing them up lol and collect). I felt like the Smart also lacked a lot but then when the cards came out; not so much. It made it more fun. I just saw your One Piece video and want to open mine so bad but don't have a double yet sadly. I want lots of more Content. So far, I feel like the meets, on, Somes etc (, depending on your region) had the most content, items, locations etc. I feel like we need another device like that. It felt like it truly stayed true to the original kinds of Tamagotchis but with a lot of extra features and gene mixing. I'm okay with non gene mixing devices too because I love OG and Original Characters. It would be sooooooo nice if we had a device that gave us the option. Whether we wanted to mix genes or not. But in my opinion gene mixing gives an endless amount of play time, due to all the different characters you can make!!! So I guess that's why I find myself always going back to my White ON or Purple Some ( with Pumpkin). I don't really play my Pix as much (I need rechargeable batteries) but thinking about revisiting it also one day soon. It just felt like it was a spin off of Tamagotchi rather than a Tamagotchi. But that's my opinion. I still like it and love it; because it's Tamagotchi LOL I'm hoping we get lots more DLC with Uni, and look forward to it. And I really hope we can get our Connections remade or released, or at least content resembles on the Uni or next model. And I really really really hope we get another Device Similar to ON/Meets etc. To me the On/Meets brought old Tamagotchi and Modern Tamagotchi together. I'm so glad you post this content. See I grew up with Connections but I prefer the full color tamagotchi. I wish they would make multiple new shell variants with backlit screens if they did a remake of the Connections. I have a Familitchi but it's not as fun to play because I can't see the screen well at night and don't want to put too much wear and tear on my favorite shell. I am REALLY hoping they release the XG collab that they announced for April Fool's 🤣😂💖
@JillGrygas I have no idea! It's posted on both XG and Tamagotchi's websites but it was just "coming soon" and I haven't seen anything about it since then! The antenna post was 100% a joke but I'm not sure what to believe about the XG collab! It would be really awesome if they did, they love doing new and innovative things but many people crave the classic and simple gameplay of the old Connections, so they just might!! We can only hope 🙏💖💕

Omg 2020 was your introduction to the connections! Crazy! I guess you were a teenager when they came out so weren't interested in them at that time haha. I was 7!! So they are super nostalgic for me!!! I played with them up until I was around 10 and then got into them again at the age of 20 . 🤣So I missed the V5-V7s but purchased these versions as an adult. I wish my interest stuck as a kid, but there was a lot going on during that time and not a lot of money either. 🥸😂
Yes I was a late teen/early 20's when the Connections were released. I think I'm a bit older than people realize :D And I just didn't have a clue that Tamagotchi was still a thing.

I played with them up until I was around 10 and then got into them again at the age of 20 . 🤣So I missed the V5-V7s but purchased these versions as an adult. I wish my interest stuck as a kid, but there was a lot going on during that time and not a lot of money either. 🥸😂

Yes I was a late teen/early 20's when the Connections were released. I think I'm a bit older than people realize :D And I just didn't have a clue that Tamagotchi was still a thing.
