Finnteen 711 man, that really upset me. I refuse to use cheats myself, and so I’d expect a higher standard from a “professional gamer”.
I only use cheats when i get bored of a game or when I've beaten it, cheats ruin the experience and should be a reward for completion, not a pathway towards it
DSP literally wants a cheat which completes the game for him.

I learned waaay more about DSP than I ever wanted to... but I learned a lot about how NOT to be a - gamer, youtuber, twitch streamer, editor, boyfriend, "self employed", business associate, and an overall general human being.

I’ve never felt so depressed and horrified. The way Fred was, how sick his intentions were, it literally just shows how dark and disgusting he really was.
If anyone still thinks he’s still good, defend him, I dare you. And as for those who were friends with Alice (especially Che, who I think was marrying Alice if I heard right?), I really hope they’re doing well. Literally wanted to hug them when they announced her death and obituary.

Yeah and when Fred turned up he didn't even mention Alice or say 'Oh I am so sorry for being late, let's make this podcast about Alice. Remember when.....' etc. I got the impression that none of the people on there, except Che obviously and maybe one or two others, liked Alice that much in all honesty but even so, be respectful.
I teared up when he talks about how Fred posted to the group "Holy shit, it's actually real" and her fiancée started crying talking about how she went into a coma and when he received the news.. absolutely heartbreaking. I really hope that he is doing okay.

This is hands down the best short film/mockumentary about a “TH-cam personality” I have ever seen. It takes a certain kind of genius to make a video about ONE YEAR of a stay-at-home-gamer’s life funny, climactic, and emotionally gripping. Honestly deserves some type of award.

Fun Fact: the SoK was a group that spun off from KWO; Kojima World Order. It was a channel that uploaded Phil videos, although I don't think it had voice over...it's been awhile. KWO apparently imploded from internal drama. I have a funny feeling I know who may have been at the center of it, tho I never heard more then "it imploded from internal drama and the original creator of KWO isn't part of SoK."
And here I thought the Sons of Kojima just did the videos for fun in their spare time, didint know it went that deep, hell.

I think the SOK segment might have been better as a separate video. It was very detailed and powerful, but I don't think it fits in this countdown - it's like a separate 40-minute documentary about other people in the middle of a video that is otherwise all about Phil's behaviour.
Cried when I heard how disrespectful they were to Alice. All this SoK stuff is new to me but Goddamn thats a human life.. A human suffered as Fred mocked her.. Thats just so fucking sad. I cant imagine how I would feel if I was on my deathbed and the people I thought were my friend's did this to me.

Let's endure tekken 7 was good, but that's more due to secret's editing than anything - think it was a special cut of it just for them.
Let's not kid ourselves - DSP got over on that shit, and the fact he was able to do that for so long without direct capture is an accomplishment in itself barring how tarnished it may be now.
When it comes to the SoK, yes, they were fucking crazy, but crazy can be entertaining too...Satan knows I found them funny. Feel dumb for not looking deeper, and falling for the charity front (Back on that mafia shit) but is what it is.
The SOK stuff was creepy as hell, I remember hearing about all them imploding earlier in the year. As someone that was a fan of their's it pained me to hear about what was happening behind close doors. I will give credit to those who were in the group that knew about all that stuff and apologized. Unlike Fred Fuchs who acted like he was a leader of some Mafia BS internet group and being so paranoid that the only thing he cared about was power in his fake group and trashing Phil. The stuff about Alice when she passed away was disturbing, pathetic, and overall creepy as hell. I felt so bad hearing Che pour out about how he felt about her and how much he basically hates Fred. I don't blame him at all.

As someone who does crappy vertical video edits that are under three minutes long, I came across this after searching what Phil was up to after all these years. I’m an admirer of your work. This deserves an Oscar, an Emmy, a Grammy and a golden globe for best editing/sound.

Barely anyone knew because it was swept under the rug by Fred. As far as a surface view went Che and Alice just left the group but after personally digging around you find that there was SO much to this group.

Honestly, I completely lost track of wtf that was all about. I get that it's connected to DSP in some way, but the majority of it seemed to just be a group collapsing in on itself, not exactly a "DSP moment" but a "DSP 'related' moment".
The saddest thing about Panda x DSP is that she clearly was fond of him. Was. Her reactions and stuff were very friendly and caring.
But with this timeline, it's clear that it was waning. And I'm willing to bet things like ditching her brother's wedding AND that awful anxiety attack were two main factors in her choice to break up. So sad.
I'm happy she is doing well for herself after this :) she is young, she won't get time back, but she can still seize the day.

For whatever it's worth, I've heard from a youtube comment that she's married now. I hope she's doing well. As you said, she put up with so much, and however annoying she was it was kind of gross how often Phil dismissed and belittled her. Flashback to the time he was playing jackbox games and made her sit offscreen and be quiet...I get his audience didn't like her but damn that hurts thinking back, now that I'm older.

I hate to break to you SecretLife but Phil will have forgotten most of these events or will at least try to alter them to show himself in a more favourable light when he retells them in 2018.

Wow, rewatching after those two videos with Kat, the chemistry between them and when he was with Leanna is worlds apart. Even if he just were keeping a low profile on Kat, the kind of interactions are just incomparable. Moving from this kind of relationship to “that” kind of a relationship isn’t meeting a “soulmate” it’s filling in a hole in your heart with a block of frozen lye.

1. The voiceover. I love the fact this has a Hollywood style voiceover
2. I love the fact a top ten is 2 hours long
3. A legit amount of effort has put into this video

My son's switch did the same thing his did a few months ago when I bought him one. It wasn't bricked, it was a problem with the old firmware or some shit. All you have to do is hold the power button for like 10 seconds, release it then hold it for another few seconds and it boots on. Then you update the system and it's fixed.

This video was great. Almost 3 hours of quality khantant with some of the best editing I've seen from a DSP detractor.
My only complaint is that I feel like No. 3 should have been its own video for 2 reasons
1) It's more about the SOK then Phil himself
2) it's a complete shift tonal shift from making fun of Phil to complete seriousness about some fucked up things Fred's done ending with a message about abuse and it's a bit jarring when it goes back to "haha look at Phil's fuckups" (not saying the topic shouldn't have been taken seriously, it's just out of place compared to the rest of the video and should've been it's own video)
I wonder if Phil would skip his Wedding with Leana ( thank god they broke up ) if a game was coming out days before..

The problem with SOK was they were a group. If you’re in a group of trolls, shit will always go south. If your going this route, go solo. Stay independent and don’t take your detractor shit too seriously.

The part about the guy losing his brother really hit me hard. I too lost my brother after he committed suicide and now 2 years later, I have a much more sober look at life and find myself thinking where I would be if I could still see him. I mean we were never best friends or anything, but the fact is he's gone and nothing will ever change that and that is so evident with me and my parents. I still dwell on it, but even now he still inspires me because he was an excellent student, valedictorian and full college scholarship, but couldn't cope well with the workload he took. I just started college now and even managed to lose 40 lbs over these 2 years. But still, there's no chance of my brother ever seeing me like this ever again. It's the weirdest feeling ever, someone just being .... gone.

I know that feeling. I lost my grandpa on my mom's side and it's been almost 2 years now. It still hurts me to this day. But the most important thing is to keep on living. Keep living because your brother would be proud of you.

Recently minted detractor here, these videos are a must watch for anyone falling down this rabbit hole known as DSP. I have attempted to watch him directly, but suddenly it was the following day and I had a massive headache. It’s like Medusa, you can’t directly watch, you need a buffer.
