Not to mention that elite landed directly inside of an incendiary grenades flame puddle, stripping his shields right before the hunter hit him. Even without the hunter, he only would've lasted another second tops
0:24 this entire scene of the grunt accidentally sabatoging the turret was great, especially the pan away where you see the consequences of his actions fly across the screen.
i would like to see more of the USMC + Elites teaming up like halo 3 against the flood infestation or something like that would be cool. Having shielded elites and jackels etc would help balance them out since the flood spores 1 shot humans
The ODST music makes this ever more epic!..also love how the brute was like I'm angry now see elite with fuelrod...umm nah I'll just beat up the little human instead.

i don’t get 343 sometimes AI in MCC’s forge is possible with a mod so i’m wondering why 343 can’t do it themselves i know AI will be added to halo infinite’s forge but if they can do it for infinite why can’t they do it for the MCC???? (PS i really like this video)
I don't know if *this* is why 343 specifically made this decision, but broadly the conventional game design wisdom is that bots are an expensive and some would say wasteful use of resources for first person shooters and othetwise for the multiplayer setting. This is being steadily eroded I think, but this trend started way back in the early 2000s. For example, Battlefield 2142 was the last battlefield game that had bots in multilayer. The halo games 100% were initially planned to have multilayer bots (source code in halo 2 supports this), but fell victim to this mindset. It reminds me a lot of how publishers say horror and the single player experience is dead. It may not even be data driven, but that is something people will design games around regardless.

love seeing the Grunts that sided with the Elites fight alongside Marines. You never saw that in the Games

This would have been a great campaign mission for a beach storm/ castle defence
