You must have enjoyed painting this. The style of Seago's is not too dissimilar to your own style of art. Great job. Thank you for sharing.
I have learned a lot from studying his paintings. Yes it was fun. Thanks for watching 😀
I particularly like the abstract bit on the bottom left.
You can learn so much from these studies.
Thank you Robert, for sharing your art. I think everyone that paints copies the masters, it's a great way to learn and fun.
You are very welcome
Wonderful “feel good” kinda lesson! Thanks so much for sharing this with us!!!!
You're welcome!
Very kind of you to share this Robert. I'm glad you mentioned the brushes and their specific uses as I have both you mentioned and now know when to use each for different purposes. Thank you again. ☀️
You are very welcome.
I think your idea to copy the Masters art work. It is a great approach to learn and better understand how someone like Sego or Sargent may have approached painting a subject. While watching this video I noticed the palette you are using. I would like to know what is the name of it. I have not seen any palette that has the mixing areas set up like yours. I use a John Pike for larger paintings and a variety of smaller ones for Plein Air. On my John Pike I used hot glue on it to create separated mixing areas. My personal opinion is that you don't need a bizillion slots for the paint and then small mixing areas.
It is a Liz Deakin palette, works well for me. I also use the John Pike!
Całkiem dobrze wyszło .Kopiowanie jest dobrym ćwiczeniem .Często kopiuję Zbukvica .
Thanks. Zubukvic is a modern day master for sure.
