  • In this video, you will learn the Concepts and Tricks of Projectile Motion Class 11 Physics. The Topics included in this Lecture are:
    Case - 2: Projectile Fired horizontally from a certain height
    1) Position of the particle at any time ‘t’ and Equation of Trajectory of a projectile
    2) Time of Flight of a projectile
    3) Horizontal Range of a projectile
    4) Velocity of projectile at any time t
    Note: If Projectiles ‘A’ and ‘B’ are projected horizontally with different initial velocities from the same height and a third particle ‘C’ is dropped from the same point then,
    All three particles will take equal time to reach the ground.
    Q) In The Numerical Based on the above concept a) Find Time of Flight
    b) Find Horizontal Range
    c) Find the velocity with which it hits the ground
    Case -3: Projectile fired at an angle ‘θ’ above horizontal from a certain height

    Case -4: Projectile fired at an angle ‘θ’ below horizontal from a certain height
    Q.) A person throws a stone with a speed of 5 m/s at an angle 37° below horizontal from a height of 8 m by aiming a target ‘A’ situated on the ground.
    a) Find the Time of Flight of a projectile
    b) Find the Horizontal range of a projectile
    c) Find the distance by which it misses the target ‘A’
    d) Find the velocity with which it hits the ground
