We didn't know when they were going, one day they just posted Jin was leaving and we all collapsed lol I'm still sad. The "promise that we'll keep on coming back for more" line always gets to me. Its a promise they'll come back once they're done because a lot of people said they wouldn't come back after.
We didn’t really know much tbh, Festa Dinner 2022 came just after this was released and that’s where we got a bunch of information regarding the start of Chapter 2…it was….extremely emotional. It wasn’t until October, a day or so after their Yet To Come concert in Busan, that we heard about their enlistment. Jin had told us at the concert he would be releasing a song (That was to be The Astronaut) but we didn’t know the significance of it until we got the announcements😢
I'm really excited now! Because now it's time to get to BTS's B-sides! Their B-sides are AMAZING! Their B-sides don't get to shine as much as their title tracks, but their B-sides are just on another level. Like y'all think you've been hearing great music? Just wait until you discover those B-sides from their albums. My God, I can't believe we've already reached the end of chapter 1 😭 However, I hope you consider not stopping to see the content offered by the title tracks such as dance practices, live performances, Mvs with different versions and behind the scenes Yet To Come, for example, has lives beautiful and iconic in Korean shows The title tracks are not only mainstream, they are key points of each stage that we live with them over the years. For example, when we see the Blood Sweat and Tears MV again, we can breathe again and live the wings era, the complete comeback, the vibes of that year, the entire album, even the outfits and appearances of the members that will never return, but we have the possibility of reliving it whenever we want. (That goes for when I can't forget or get over Jungkook with cherry hair and that's why I rewatch the entire Idol era just because I miss him🤣that's how every past era is identified just by her appearance. In an interview or photo I see Yoongi with mint hair and I immediately remember that she belongs to 2015 at the time of The Most Beautiful Moment In Life albums)

They started in that bus and ended their chapter 1 on the same bus. The last scene is like looking back and closing that chapter of their lives, but the looks of calmness and gratitude on their faces say it all - thankful for the journey they’ve had but ready for what’s to come. Everything is this mv has reference..from first second to last. Since proof was there anthology album,they eventually showed their first to last journey.. The bus resembles their debut, and them running back towards it resembles they are going back again from where they've started.. The inside bus scene is the same shot from spring day ending.. Since you’ve spaced out watching MV’s, I wasn’t sure you’d be able to catch all the Easter eggs in this MV but I’m sure someone will comment with all of them! But fun fact, MAX wrote this song for BTS. MAX is a singer/songwriter and very good friend of Suga’s. Suga was featured on MAX’s song Blueberry Eyes and MAX was featured on an Agust D track called “BURN IT”. Then BTS’ team asked MAX to help write for their new album and sent him the tracks. MAX said he cut like 6 different versions, 5 of them were with a team of songwriters and 1 of them was written by only MAX in his bedroom. Which version went on the album? The one MAX did by himself! But he’s very humble and said BTS of course evolved it and made it their own so it’s “very much a cowriting situation” - and thus Yet to Come was born.
Can't wait for 2024 so we can get our Jin and Hobi back home with us. The new year is going to be great. It's no 2025 but I'm just excited to welcome two of our seven back. This MV really was such a beautiful closing to a chapter. Looking back it's impressive how much BTS and their team planned ahead of time. I mean we got Take Two and The Planet as their group songs but then we got all of the solo projects and collaborations plus they had all of the promotional work they did. Then there was the BTS book they released, the docu-series that's coming out tomorrow, all of the Suchwita episodes that are still coming out and Jin's videos that he pre-taped for us to cheer us up when we miss him. Even little side-quests when they'd appear on shows for fun. And now we know that they actually prepared even more stuff like a gift bundle to keep us going until Jin returns. The amount of work that went into this is actually wild. It's impossible not to feel loved and doted on. They did their best to shower us in things so we won't feel as sad and cut off from them.

It was so heartbreaking when this came out and we found out they were taking a break but they settled our hearts and let us know that they will be back bigger and better than ever. That moment inside the school bus in the last sequence is a recreation from the scene in Spring day inside the train. Where they are seated, and even the gestures. It's just that this time it is not a gloomy sight and they are smiling, ready for the next chapter with us. 🥰🥰🥰
I'm sure people have commented all the visual references and everything but without too many spoilers I want to talk about the symbolism of the desert and sea and why the setting and that closing scene are so important. (Just so you can understand why I sobbed my eyes out at the end of the MV when I first watched it TT) During you guys' 2 Cool 4 Skool album review you listened to 'Path' but you actually missed a second hidden track from that album--'Skit: On the Start Line'. It's a monologue from RM that serves as a kind of intro for 'Path'. This track and the later hidden track 'Sea' from their 2017 album 'Love Yourself: Her' explore the metaphor of deserts and seas as representative of the trials and triumphs of life and BTS have been using this idea to characterize their journey as a group for many years now. The desert setting of this MV is very important as it refers to that (and actually it's not CG it's filmed on location outside Las Vegas!) When you hear the sound of the waves during the outro it shows that they've passed through that difficult desert and finally come to the sea on the other side. Also interesting to note that the outro scene is a recreation of the panning shot of the boys in the train from the 'Spring Day' MV. That's why they're sitting in that particular order on the bus!
I can't believe we have come at the end of BTS chapter 1. I had so much fun with you guys throughout this whole chronological journey. Bus scene is not only a reference to "no more dream' but also to 'spring day' because they were all sitting in those exact places in spring day, the same way the camera pans out in that MV as well.

There was discussion for years around whether they might be exempted, but BTS themselves never took part in that discussion. That MV is just jam packed with references to so many of their other songs and MVs. There is actually a video that explains all the references, I remember watching it shortly after Yet To Come came out.
I remember watching this mv, reading the lyrics.. it felt like it was a goodbye. Then they announced their “break” and their 2023 fiesta.. 2023 was a hard year for armys🥲
The Korean gov. was playing them, and day after the Busan concert JIn made the announcement. They always said, when asked, they would serve. There was a lot of things from past MV in this MV. also This seemed like a close to the BU story and Jin's character figured it out and got them all back together and ok.
Over 10 years since debut, their discography is MASSIVE!! Besides their title tracks & MVs, their B-sides are absolutely amazing. Not to mention individual projects, unit projects, collaborations, etc. 💜

Congrats on your BTS journey. But a bit surprised that so many of the references in the lyrics, props, vehicles, their outfits, gestures, seating arrangement in the bus, sounds like the "Sea" which is a beautiful song of BTS were missed.
This is why I always tell people to focus and carefully observe every detail (such as objects and scenes) of the MV since each BTS MV has a lot of symbolism, and each symbol will be covered in their future songs and so on. All of their songs are linked, and sometimes it is a response to one of their songs. I understand you are still learning that is why you missed lots of things, but I hope you will get used to it. I know you love the musical background so much, but pls focus on the details, lyrics and scenes. ^_^ Thank you so much.

It brings me back all over again.... now I miss them so much.. I hope they are doing well in the military training, I heard a lot of mistreatment like invasion of privacy from the celebrities example getting stared at while showering even trying to take photos of them showering 😕 also the higher ups using their position to make them do something like video greetings for their relatives or pictures etc. Super junior, Shinee, 2pm also G-dragon voiced out that it happens to them to the point that they don't want to take a shower cause they were scared and even G-dragon was hospitalized due to stress. I'm so worried for our bangtan 😢😢😢 I hope nothing like this happens to them and to no one else. I really hope 🙏🙏🙏
I was happy Abby picked up on hearing the ocean in the desert. At least they picked up on the importance of the school bus... but the position they are sitting on the bus at the end is the same formation of them sitting on the train in Spring Day even down to Hobi patting Jimin. Wish they noticed the symbolisms in the first watch... I think that at the time of release that is what made reaction videos to this song so enjoyable & emotional... so in that way, the initial reaction was underwhelming (just being honest). Things I was hoping they would've picked up on: Jin with the black truck- HYYH Era, Jin's hand formation in Fake Love ending, Tae in Boy In Luv school uniform, Jimin literally wearing his Spring Day clothes and his "come with me" hand gesture after getting off the train from the MV, the Blood, Sweat & Tears statue, RM with the storage container and gas station, (they did spot Hobi with Spring Day train), Yoongi was representing Young Forever Era- which I didn't expect them to pick up on becasue a lot of that was from album concept photos- didn't someone gift them that album?, Jin and Tae switching the unconvering of the eyes, the JK stuff I understood because a lot of that was BU related... HOWEVER, I did enjoy the reaction... I love this channel. I am a Patreon... so just listed some things I was hoping for. Can't wait to see what is to come for the reactions going forward and Take Two is considered Chapter 2 and came after this. Thank you so much! I have never cried like this before for BTS since the day I wasn’t able to secure me a ticket for their Wings tour here in the Philippines. Seeing the last part of this MV and hearing you making “aaah” sound when the screen closed and BTS disappeared made me realize how much I miss BTS so much and how much I am going to miss them still coz of their military enlistment! I think I have been in a denial phase of still thinking about seeing them even with their solo projects. My heart is aching right now! As a mother myself, I feel like my children were taken away from me to go somewhere where I won’t be able to see or talk to them for almost two years! It’s really breaking my heart right now! I want BTS happy, safe, healthy and doing the things they love together! I’m 46, a mother of 2 teenagers and have been an ARMY since June of 2015. I have never loved, supported and respected any other artists like BTS ever! They are actually in my daily prayers, most especially now that they’re in the military and are separated from each other! Let us all wish for their good health, safety and happiness. Let us all wait patiently for their return in 2025. Keep safe, be happy and stay healthy, ARMYs! Borahae! 💜💜💜

All the symbolism on this video, it is on their last Busan Concert in October where they performed for free. There were over 60,000 people attended and 49 million tuned in via livestream.

BTS law was created which allows BTS(cultural merit awarded people) to delay the military service till 30 and countless discussions were going on in korea's politics about exemption from military for BTS but BTS wamted to do it on their own terms.At the moment only Jin and Suga reached the age but all of them went together to come back at the same time. They really are master planners . They planned everything. BTS documentry is releasing and I guess you should watch it at this moment together with other ARMYs. Much love💖

imagine watching festa dinner then them releasing this mv after. we were NOT ok. lol. so many non-ARMYs speculating about disbandment and the spirits were low, but we chose to trust the boys. when they said they just need some time apart to get back together stronger, it appeased our purple hearts 💜

We didn't know when they were going, one day they just posted Jin was leaving and we all collapsed lol I'm still sad. The "promise that we'll keep on coming back for more" line always gets to me. Its a promise they'll come back once they're done because a lot of people said they wouldn't come back after.
We didn’t really know much tbh, Festa Dinner 2022 came just after this was released and that’s where we got a bunch of information regarding the start of Chapter 2…it was….extremely emotional. It wasn’t until October, a day or so after their Yet To Come concert in Busan, that we heard about their enlistment. Jin had told us at the concert he would be releasing a song (That was to be The Astronaut) but we didn’t know the significance of it until we got the announcements😢
I'm really excited now! Because now it's time to get to BTS's B-sides! Their B-sides are AMAZING! Their B-sides don't get to shine as much as their title tracks, but their B-sides are just on another level. Like y'all think you've been hearing great music? Just wait until you discover those B-sides from their albums.

My God, I can't believe we've already reached the end of chapter 1 😭 However, I hope you consider not stopping to see the content offered by the title tracks such as dance practices, live performances, Mvs with different versions and behind the scenes

The title tracks are not only mainstream, they are key points of each stage that we live with them over the years.
For example, when we see the Blood Sweat and Tears MV again, we can breathe again and live the wings era, the complete comeback, the vibes of that year, the entire album, even the outfits and appearances of the members that will never return, but we have the possibility of reliving it whenever we want.

There are many symbolisms in this video pertaining to the eras of BTS - the big statue from Blood, Sweat and Tears; the Carousel from Spring Day; the trailer and the pick up truck from Run; and the most heartwrenching Yellow bus from the their debut No More Dream. They started in that bus and ended their chapter 1 on the same bus. The last scene is like looking back and closing that chapter of their lives, but the looks of calmness and gratitude on their faces say it all - thankful for the journey they’ve had but ready for what’s to come. Since you’ve spaced out watching MV’s, I wasn’t sure you’d be able to catch all the Easter eggs in this MV but I’m sure someone will comment with all of them! But fun fact, MAX wrote this song for BTS. MAX is a singer/songwriter and very good friend of Suga’s. Suga was featured on MAX’s song Blueberry Eyes and MAX was featured on an Agust D track called “BURN IT”. Then BTS’ team asked MAX to help write for their new album and sent him the tracks. MAX said he cut like 6 different versions, 5 of them were with a team of songwriters and 1 of them was written by only MAX in his bedroom. Which version went on the album? The one MAX did by himself! But he’s very humble and said BTS of course evolved it and made it their own so it’s “very much a cowriting situation” - and thus Yet to Come was born.
Can't wait for 2024 so we can get our Jin and Hobi back home with us. The new year is going to be great. It's no 2025 but I'm just excited to welcome two of our seven back. This MV really was such a beautiful closing to a chapter. Looking back it's impressive how much BTS and their team planned ahead of time. I mean we got Take Two and The Planet as their group songs but then we got all of the solo projects and collaborations plus they had all of the promotional work they did. Then there was the BTS book they released, the docu-series that's coming out tomorrow, all of the Suchwita episodes that are still coming out and Jin's videos that he pre-taped for us to cheer us up when we miss him. Even little side-quests when they'd appear on shows for fun. And now we know that they actually prepared even more stuff like a gift bundle to keep us going until Jin returns. The amount of work that went into this is actually wild. It's impossible not to feel loved and doted on. They did their best to shower us in things so we won't feel as sad and cut off from them.

That moment inside the school bus in the last sequence is a recreation from the scene in Spring day inside the train. Where they are seated, and even the gestures. It's just that this time it is not a gloomy sight and they are smiling, ready for the next chapter with us. 🥰🥰🥰
I'm sure people have commented all the visual references and everything but without too many spoilers I want to talk about the symbolism of the desert and sea and why the setting and that closing scene are so important. (Just so you can understand why I sobbed my eyes out at the end of the MV when I first watched it TT) During you guys' 2 Cool 4 Skool album review you listened to 'Path' but you actually missed a second hidden track from that album--'Skit: On the Start Line'. It's a monologue from RM that serves as a kind of intro for 'Path'. This track and the later hidden track 'Sea' from their 2017 album 'Love Yourself: Her' explore the metaphor of deserts and seas as representative of the trials and triumphs of life and BTS have been using this idea to characterize their journey as a group for many years now. The desert setting of this MV is very important as it refers to that (and actually it's not CG it's filmed on location outside Las Vegas!) When you hear the sound of the waves during the outro it shows that they've passed through that difficult desert and finally come to the sea on the other side. Also interesting to note that the outro scene is a recreation of the panning shot of the boys in the train from the 'Spring Day' MV. That's why they're sitting in that particular order on the bus!
I can't believe we have come at the end of BTS chapter 1. I had so much fun with you guys throughout this whole chronological journey. That MV is just jam packed with references to so many of their other songs and MVs. There is actually a video that explains all the references, I remember watching it shortly after Yet To Come came out.

The Korean gov. was playing them, and day after the Busan concert JIn made the announcement. They always said, when asked, they would serve. There was a lot of things from past MV in this MV. also This seemed like a close to the BU story and Jin's character figured it out and got them all back together and ok.
Over 10 years since debut, their discography is MASSIVE!! Besides their title tracks & MVs, their B-sides are absolutely amazing. Not to mention individual projects, unit projects, collaborations, etc. 💜

Take two was just a gift for Armys for their anniversary. You can include it for Chapter 2, but it was just a sweet gesture for the 10 year milestone.
Congrats on your BTS journey. But a bit surprised that so many of the references in the lyrics, props, vehicles, their outfits, gestures, seating arrangement in the bus, sounds like the "Sea" which is a beautiful song of BTS were missed.
This is why I always tell people to focus and carefully observe every detail (such as objects and scenes) of the MV since each BTS MV has a lot of symbolism, and each symbol will be covered in their future songs and so on. All of their songs are linked, and sometimes it is a response to one of their songs. I understand you are still learning that is why you missed lots of things, but I hope you will get used to it. I know you love the musical background so much, but pls focus on the details, lyrics and scenes. ^_^ Thank you so much.
It's not CGI, they fined this in California dessert close to Vegas. They recorded this in April 2022 when they were in Las Vegas for PTD.

It brings me back all over again.... now I miss them so much.. I hope they are doing well in the military training, I heard a lot of mistreatment like invasion of privacy from the celebrities example getting stared at while showering even trying to take photos of them showering 😕 also the higher ups using their position to make them do something like video greetings for their relatives or pictures etc. Super junior, Shinee, 2pm also G-dragon voiced out that it happens to them to the point that they don't want to take a shower cause they were scared and even G-dragon was hospitalized due to stress. I'm so worried for our bangtan 😢😢😢 I hope nothing like this happens to them and to no one else. I really hope 🙏🙏🙏
I was happy Abby picked up on hearing the ocean in the desert. At least they picked up on the importance of the school bus... but the position they are sitting on the bus at the end is the same formation of them sitting on the train in Spring Day even down to Hobi patting Jimin. Wish they noticed the symbolisms in the first watch... I think that at the time of release that is what made reaction videos to this song so enjoyable & emotional... so in that way, the initial reaction was underwhelming (just being honest). Things I was hoping they would've picked up on: Jin with the black truck- HYYH Era, Jin's hand formation in Fake Love ending, Tae in Boy In Luv school uniform, Jimin literally wearing his Spring Day clothes and his "come with me" hand gesture after getting off the train from the MV, the Blood, Sweat & Tears statue, RM with the storage container and gas station, (they did spot Hobi with Spring Day train), Yoongi was representing Young Forever Era- which I didn't expect them to pick up on becasue a lot of that was from album concept photos- didn't someone gift them that album?, Jin and Tae switching the unconvering of the eyes, the JK stuff I understood because a lot of that was BU related... HOWEVER, I did enjoy the reaction... I love this channel. I am a Patreon... so just listed some things I was hoping for. Thank you so much! I have never cried like this before for BTS since the day I wasn’t able to secure me a ticket for their Wings tour here in the Philippines. Seeing the last part of this MV and hearing you making “aaah” sound when the screen closed and BTS disappeared made me realize how much I miss BTS so much and how much I am going to miss them still coz of their military enlistment! I think I have been in a denial phase of still thinking about seeing them even with their solo projects. My heart is aching right now! As a mother myself, I feel like my children were taken away from me to go somewhere where I won’t be able to see or talk to them for almost two years! It’s really breaking my heart right now! I want BTS happy, safe, healthy and doing the things they love together! I’m 46, a mother of 2 teenagers and have been an ARMY since June of 2015. I have never loved, supported and respected any other artists like BTS ever! They are actually in my daily prayers, most especially now that they’re in the military and are separated from each other! BTS law was created which allows BTS(cultural merit awarded people) to delay the military service till 30 and countless discussions were going on in korea's politics about exemption from military for BTS but BTS wamted to do it on their own terms.At the moment only Jin and Suga reached the age but all of them went together to come back at the same time.
