It is amazing how seeing something like this can instantly kill your motivation and motivate you hard at the same time, you get me.. 😂 Amazing work! ✌️
Man, beautiful video! Can you make a video explaining how to take it from Zbrush to Substance Painter and then to Marmoset? I don't really know the pipeline of how to proceed. I usually sculpt in Zbrush but it is very heavy, and sometimes I do my own polypainting there, but I would like to know the steps of your workflow as the pieces are extremely heavy after sculpting.
Awesome work dude, nice simple breakdown. I'm feeling like in this Pokémon series, there could be a project that makes good use of the new Slimebrush in Zbrush haha. Nice one Jared!
Hey Jared! Really a fan of your work . I have a request that ...can you make an elaborate video just about substance painter when it comes characters/ creatures....that would be really helpful. Awesome work ! would like to see more of it in the future .
Very beautifull, i like your texturing style! What is the process in between Zbrush and Substance? You can't work with a 65mi polygons model in Substance, right?
Hi Jared great video, What drawing tablet setup are you using? I have a Huion which is pretty bad but was ok to get started, i'm looking to up my game for drawing and designing graphics for clothing.
How long did it take? It's amazing! I'm currently doing a twisted/ demonio version of the Porygon line! Glad I'm not the only one who likes to twist pokemon like that
Hi Jared! could maybe give more tips about automatic retopology, and maybe some tricks to control more or rifine, there was - i belive follow up to alien retopo planned and it didnt came. And also how you UV this not perfect retopos for good effect.
Honestly I don’t really have much to offer on auto retopo outside what I showed in that video. I may do retopo on the alien. For UV on a auto retopo I just UV it the same way I would anything else, the seams just tend to be more jagged. Just kinda gotta be ok with.

also keen to get on your next portfolio review! cheers dude!
It's nice to see the whole process normally, from scratch to the final product. Even if it be a couple separated videos.
Ya I’ll still do those in the future!
Love your videos! Would love to see a full tutorial on characters from you someday!

I just use a lowered subdiv of the sculpt and UV that. Worked fine for this project!
Man this short pokeman series has been immaculant! Love the workflow, do you retopo these models?
No, I’ve just been using a zremeshed topo for it!
This turned out great.
🤘🏽 thanks!
At this step 5:00 , do you use dynamesh ? or an other subdivion tool ? i'm not an english speaker maybe i missed this point. Great project btw !
Great work
Thanks Sarah! 🤘🏽

Can you make a full course step by step to do things like this plz
How long did it take?
It's amazing!
I'm currently doing a twisted/ demonio version of the Porygon line! Glad I'm not the only one who likes to twist pokemon like that
Tight! 🤘🏽
He looks like Godzilla ❤
GOAT
Thanks dude! 🥰🤘🏽
Jeeee.
do you need to decimate the model before exporting him to substance? my model refuse to be exported and unwrapped for uv after i reached 5mik polygons
Ya that’s because 5 million polys is to high to be exporting. You need a low poly mesh to export and bake to
To use substance painter do I need to do retopology and bake using high Poly and low Poly?
Ya, I’m assuming painter doesn’t hand high polys very well. It can handle some polys but probably not terribly high
Wonderful style
hallo bro how you setup the uv in zbrush to other app like substance painter or blender?
Just run a uv master on it. Fix it in another application
@@jchave7 example i want to use blender,so the best metod to get all the detail that i sculp is retopo in blender?
how did you do the UVs? did you zRemesh and then uv and reproject?
Ya quick and dirty.
Was this retopod? Or did you just decimate the model? Also, what about UV-s? Did you do them manually?
No, just an auto retopo. And manually uvd that.
Hello, what is the software used for the paint ?
Substance
where did u make the uv map? on zbrush?
Ya
What type of render engine did u use?
Marmoset 4
How did you add the black outline that gives the cartoon effects?
Duplicated the mesh and inverted it!
Jared i have a question, how did you make retopology to this model for painting? was automatic?
Ya just automatic. I didn’t wanna be bogged down and deal with the retopo
@@jchave7 what tool did you used? Zremesh?
Ya!
How can i find your courses sir?
You can find the links in my IG bio
