Appreciate you for not gatekeeping or generally being a dick and for not spouting tons of rules like most of the other videos similar to this

There are no rules here 🤘🏻 And anyone that says there are is wrong.

Has no dog in the gatekeeping fight, guy literally buys all his crap from PtPP. The most opportunistic pos site in the patch scene.

@bigbillywillysgrandadadventu7737 As much as I hate PTP as much as the next guy, I gotta admit they’ve made patches for legendary bands that have never and probably will never have patches made of. Most notably death metal and black metal bands. I’ve got a lot on my jacket I’m working on right now but definitely haven’t bought any of them straight from PTP. I’ve made sure not to support him ever since he started jacking up all the prices for the fuck of it because brainless “plug heads” will buy them regardless, as-well as when all the drama came out in the past year. There’s definitely vests, jackets, and kutte’s that can be done beautifully with all the shapes (even though most of the shapes are ridiculous) such as the “German style”. I think if all patches were strictly limited to squares or even just a few shapes, it would make making a vest jacket etc super boring and repetitive, part of enjoying people’s vests and appreciating the same bands and hobby is seeing everyone’s creativity and individual interest. The shapes definitely make for multitudes of that indefinitely. But yeah. Simon is still is a POS.

The Dissection layout idea was my favorite of the bunch. MASSIVE improvement from the first video (much more coherent and attention-grabbing)! Thank you for planning time out of your day to entertain and inspire us.🤘

I'd love to see a tour video of all your vests! Unique stories about how you got specific patches would be great for content too!

I've recently started to arm my first battle vest and I'm drooling with the patches you showed here🤘🏼🔥 Sadly, here where I Live 🇨🇴, it's quite difficult to find that kind of quality and different designs, so we have to practically scavenge for good ones... Cool video and great tips/ideas. Keep Thrashing 🤘🏼🔥

very interesting way to do a vest. it's a bit too much stuff for my taste as i like a bit of space between patches but it's still very cool
I use a combination of geometrical and cut out patches and try to go quite asymmetrical

Thanks for these a bunch! Quite an inspiration how to do stuff. How do attach a pick or a badge without the needle-thingy? Post more videos, please.

Never done a pick without sewing it on. Just gluing it is a good way to lose it! More videos on the way.

Need to support the independent/smaller distributors in the patch scene. PtPP is more focused on their brand than the bands, they encourage a "Supreme" mentality that is detrimental to the scene. Encouraging scalping and bringing down several patch distributors.
At this point, whenever I see jackets like this, I just view a PtPP fan than a fan of those bands.

@@bigbillywillysgrandadventu7737 To be fair, I have since this video’s upload date not purchased from PTPP again and have sold most all of my patches from them. I’m avidly against their bullshit and run my own distro now. You can check it out on Instagram @too_rotten_to_die

This is why I would personally not have a vest that has mostly Pull the Plug patches, it just ends up looking like a puzzle.

@@thanesmashmontages412 No, an interesting vest is made by someone who scours and puts effort into their patch selection. A vest made entirely from PTPP patches says to me that you're nothing more than a hype beast who views the vests as a fashion statement only.
