      Yippee! Boss warm welcome back. this slugging thing is happening with me but when I tried to Cmd Command like C:/f /r /x then later on that problem resolved it may be the reason is Errors occurred but still I didn't find out the best solution to Fix C: drive errors Hope so one day you will get success to fix Errors with a software . From my personal point of view Windows 11 pro Beta channel version is automatically showing my Mouse cursor movement slow than Win10 anyway, Must try your best to find the solution of fixing Errors C: Drive where we Install windows. Thanks Boss. 🙏🏼🙏

    Thanks, Brian. Happy to report my PC has none of these problems. I keep it in tip-top shape. Once per year, I drain my two custom loops, reapply thermal paste on my CPU and GPU water blocks, and do a fresh reinstall of Windows. Once per month I blow out the dust and clean the filters. On the software side, have very few programs installed and running, and only use Windows built-in virus and firewall apps. I also check my NVMe M.2 Gen4 drives all work correctly, and with 64GB of RAM, low memory is not a problem.

    My PC never slowed down until after I downloaded the updates. Then, every time I booted it up I noticed how much longer it took . Then I noticed that it took more time to load programs that I never had problems loading before. Even the internet seemed to run slower. It became a real hassle, so I uninstalled the update then turned off automatic updates and ever since then my PC has not slowed down one bit. That was back when I was running windows 95. to this day I've tried to install updates and got the same slow results. So I went and turned off windows updates and uninstalled the last update and my computer is back to running like it came back from the factory. Since 95 I've often wondered if the updates intentionally slowed down computers so people would be forced into buying a new computer. They always claim they're doing security updates, yet who here has ever been hacked without clicking on a link, just being on the internet? Who here has actually had their system taken over without first clicking on a bogus link? Not me. I think the security they're talking about is their own financial security needs updated so they slow your computer down just so you'll buy another, hence giving them more financial security.

    My laptop won't start the sfc /scannow. It's annoying!
    Resetting the PC is a worrying process. It's like Windows isn't a stable OS that will run for a long time, compared to W7 and WXP.
    The fact that you need third-party software for OS issues says a lot of things.

    My 4790k doesnt seem to get slow, this is why I havent updated it, but even though its less of an issue with SSD's I cant break the habit of 'separation of data' to keep fragmentation down , it also pays dividends at backup and restore time or in the event of a problem with a partition as it limits what you lose access too, also I stop things running at startup that I dont use, this has been a problem since win95, a trick I have been using for 20+ year is using a swapfile of a fixed size - this keeps it contiguous so it will run quicker as ir prevents it expanding and contracting on the media causing lots of fragmentation as it goes, this was done only after a baseline was done with perfmon over the course of a week to monitor my resource usage and added an extra 20% then rounded up to the nearest multiple of 2

So, due to family situation, I have changed the Hello welcome name. I have never setup a password for logging on as didn't consider it necessary. So I decided to setup a password. There's an easy, one step, solution. Delete the malware (windows), and install a real OS (Linux). Problem solved! LOL! I'm running a rig I build three years ago, and it's been running continuously ever since. I only reboot once a month (whether it needs it, or not), and it still runs as fast as the day I first turned it on.

    Who the heck is nuts enough to open a million tabs....I have maybe 4 or 5 at any given time. My other machine runs fine and it's 4 yeas ol bt I did reset it at one point and i clean both of my machines at least once a month. I have an an antivirus but have no problems with it. Also I keep the machine light...no unwanted apps or games if \i m not playing....and no ...no extensions or add ons....they're very glitchy. Ultimately no mater how well you take care of it...the machine is ready for retirement lol They all have a life span. I don't see the point of spending money on ssd's and ram on an old machine....just get a new one.

    Why Does My PC Get Slower Over Time??
    Because it is Microsoft Windows crap!

  • @danielcoffman1022
    @danielcoffman1022 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Because Windows runs like shit. Linux does not and won’t slow down

    Every computer becomes slower after while. Same thing applies to humans, animals & birds.

    Get a Mac.
    Windows will slow down over time as long as the OS' key component is the registry.
    Also, how many tens of gigabytes has Win10 received updates thus far? Has to be way above 30Gb by now? What on earth can there still be left to fix :D
