best example I've seen. I junked many 1990s 88s and 98s, but they were all rusted. I never experienced a good example from the 90s. I'm glad at least one has survived.
I just bought a 1991 Oldsmobile 98 regency elite I also own a 97 Corolla but it's pretty clapped out, my family told me oh it's too old it's got problems yes it has problems I haven't diagnosed why the radio and the corn don't work and why the rear right side passenger window doesn't work, but it runs really well has a fairly new radiator and most things work on it the cruise control doesn't work it's pretty obvious for a car that's almost 35 years old it only had $152,000 in change on it when I bought the car I paid $800 for it but it had no motor mounts or transmission mount so that was the bulk of the price and the brakes it ended up being about 1400 hours to get it back on the road that sounds like a lot but I've driven it to Tennessee and back and I drove it to Ohio and back and it's done just fine and it's pretty good it's like 27 to 30 mi to the gallon it's been a great car so far, I've owned the car since May but I didn't have all the money together to get it out of the shop until August overall even though it needs a bit of paint on the doors and the hood because it's that wonderful clear coat that GM used to use that peels off after so many years it's in pretty good shape and there's no rust underneath.
@@guerrero2853those series 2 3.8’s are bulletproof, they like to leak from the lower intake manifold gasket and sometimes the valve covers but nothing crazy, and changing out the coolant elbows to metal ones is a huge plus. Easy fixes.
Unfortunately the style of the Olds 98 was a love or leave it thing. This car needed the bling to make it, without the typical GM cladding the body style on its own couldn't hang.
Those whitewalls make all the difference 🙌🙌🙌
That's a gleemer Id still ride this
What a gorgeous automobile.
She's beautiful 😍 now that's when cars were cars 👏👏👏👏👏 not the plastic sardine cans we have to choose from now......
best example I've seen.

Made in the same plant as the Pontiac Bonneville (Lake Orion, Michigan). Would look better with the larger Pontiac mirrors.
