I decided to make this Mod this hard days that a lot of people is in quarantine around the world.

This mod is pretty much a love letter to all of our childhoods
I like how faithful the music for Jolly Roger Bay was to the original. Basically a 1-to-1 of the original with Banjo-Kazooie instruments.
It's so cool seeing Banjo-Kazooie have so much modded content.

First King Bob-omb, then the Whomp King, now the eel... seems there's a running theme when it comes to dead Mario enemies/bosses in this hack.

This feels like The government putting my childhood memories on a blender.
The music arrangements were marvelous and the dead serpent was superb. The ramp up of drowning peril had me stressing! This level was probably the hardest of the three so far. Those timed little jumping segments with the rigid BK camera (also around that boat sail) made me very thankful for save states. The giant egg was so much fun to destroy and I FOUND THE MARIO SCREEN! Very cool.

As incredible as these mods are, all of them have only one thing in common from my observation; they all use the Banjo-Kazooie formatting. What about Banjo-Tooie, too? Both are very nice. I can't imagine that being too hard for Mark Kurko to manage.

@@Kurko_Games A darn shame. The program was never released yet? This surprises me because of how equally as old as both games are. Even the newest games of 2021 are getting mods for them, yet Banjo-Tooie gets no love, whatsoever?

I love the idea of mashing it together. I also love that people are moding my favorite N64 game. but it seems like the assets are just placed where ever. Id really love it if people did a mod that put the bk game boy advanced game into the 3d one. Really cool dude.
I would also like to see grunty's revenge in 3D. There was a team working on it, but I'm not sure if the project is still in progress...

I was trying to make Delfino Plaza, but have thousans of polygons, and optimize it would be a loooooot of extra work

Dude, I love your work, but have you actually finished any of these projects? Or do you just make single level/area files?
This one is a full mod, but I'm adding 1 level avery few time. Jiggies of Time is a complete full Mod with 9 levels,and will be released in May/June. The others are sibgle levels (Gruntilda's Mask, temple, Bear Waker etc)

When I have 40 jiggies from the five levels, what do I do to progress through the cellar door? Or is the hack still under construction?

But I recommend you to play the world you missing in an empty file, because you will lose an imprescindible hint if you keep playing on the file you played V1.5

So-far: Whomp's Fortress was flawless.
Bug report (V1.5): Bob-Omb Battlefield: after smashing the chainchomp post it crashes to desktop as it tries to enter the sequence (latest m64p build).
I'll check it. Are you playing in Mupen64 plus? What worlds did you played before?
@@Kurko_Games I've now fully beaten all the main-world levels so-far except for that 1 puzzle piece from the chainchomp post. I'm using m64p which is Mupen64plus with GlideN64 ( m64p.github.io ).

How many SM64 levels do you plan on porting into this in the end? Do you plan on doing anything with Peach's Castle itself? I've always thought that a fun way to do that would be to combine SM64 Peach's Castle with the Royal Raceway track from Mario Kart 64. I actually got lost on that track as a kid, and somehow couldn't figure out how to get out of the Castle area and back to the actual track. Since then, I figured being able to explore the place on foot would be fun.
Maybe I'll put Castle gardens as training area (similar to Spiral Mountain), we'll see. As for adding the Royal Raceway complete area, it is practically impossible, since there would be too many polygons, but it would be interesting to add only a part,as a background. I take note
@@Kurko_Games Forgot about the polygon count. I've got to remember that BK has different tools than SM64, and that you've got to keep the original console in mind. As far as N64 hacks, I've only really played a couple of SM64 ones, and I don't think they were designed with the actual console in mind.
@@kurtisharen I have an Everdrive cartridge since Christmas, and now I consider the original console. As for Jiggies of Time, it has been developed testing only in emulator for 5 years, and although it has been able to adapt to N64, some areas are a bit lagged
@@Kurko_Games I've never actually used an Everdrive, though I do have an N64. I usually just use an emulator mainly for convenience's sake, but also because I've found that connecting an older console to a modern television doesn't look very good.
I have a few younger siblings, and I had been talking about some older games that I used to have. They didn't believe me when I said that older games could look really good, so I got Donkey Kong Country 2 set up to show them, using an emulator on a Wii with the same connector set-up. (I forget what the connection type is called, but with the red, yellow, and white plugs) It should have looked the same as the original console would have, but the large-screen HDTV made the sprites look unrecognizable, and my siblings ended up laughing at me when I tried to explain the difference between televisions.
Anyways, nowadays I'll use RetroArch on my 3DS since the type of screen works amazingly well with sprite-based games. If I'm playing a polygon-based game, I'll use a PC emulator and turn up the internal resolution so it isn't as blurry. Remappable controls are great for games like Castlevania 64, where the original controls were near-impossible. I do miss having the individual cartridges, though. I used to love playing Star Fox 64 with the Nintendo player's guide that had all of the supplementary background information on each planet as I got to it. One of these days when I have the money, I want to start collecting those older games.
I've gotta ask, is just near impossible to mod tooie for some reason? Every thing I see BK mod wise is always based off of the first game and never Tooie. Is it just that much more of a chore to do?
Modifying Banjo Kazooie uses specific software created only to modify that ROM, and to create that software you need to open the ROM and it does exceptional reverse engineering work. And for now there is no software that allows you to modify BT

You don't look stupid, don't worry! Yes, you need an emulator. I recommend Project64, because is the one I use for testing. But don't use version 1.6, since it's more inestable with BK Mods

You can use any N64 emulator I think, but i recommend project64 2.1 or 2.3. And for Mac i have no idea, but I suppose if there are some N64 emulators for Mac should it work on any of them. You can use Everdrive 64 too, to play it on original hardware

So I've noticed that all of these Banjo hacks use the original Banjo Kazooie as a basis, rather than Banjo Tooie. It seems to me like Tooie would have a lot more to play around with, so is there a reason why Banjo Kazooie is chosen instead? Is it easier to work with or something?

Yes, it does. My N64 is PAL and are 100% tested with Everdrive
instead of snowmen in jolly roger, you should put the clams?
For some strange reason clams sometimes crash the game. I put the snowmen to take advantage of the flight pad
I get an error when trying to apply the .xdelta patch to the Banjo Kazooie rom using the DeltaPatcher.exe provided in the Megaupload.
Here's the error message: An error has occurred: xdelta3: target window checksum mismatch: XD3_INVALID_INPUT

how would i convert the .rar file into a .n64 file. trying to get it to work on everdrive
You need to unzip the Winrar file, and inside is the patch, which must be applied to the original ROM of the game (which you must get yourself, because it is illegal share ROMS). Anyway if you don't know how to do it tell me
I use hack64 (dot) net/tools/patcher (dot) php for patching and play on overdrive.
