Hey Imam thanks for the post, there’s definitely a lot to learn in building pans, so much process that I don’t know where your at, or what to tell you where to begin. The shaping of the pan is the biggest factor to even start tuning. If the shaping isn’t correct it will be difficult to tune. Your lion tune is fine, don’t worry about that. I can definitely help you in any obstacles in your building journey. It would be easier for me to know where you are in the process. Then I can point you in directions for the next steps

Thx for the amazing kindness of yours
i use 20 ton hydraulic press machine for making dimples , dings and tone fields i dont have any pneumatic hammer but when i need a hammer my first option is rubber one
My main problem is heat treatment and tuning
I dont access to any ovens unfortinately so i cant set a certtain degree for metal to rest in
But i have big propane torche and i've seen alot of people use it for the color diffrence of metal
If you have any tips for tuning i LOVE to hear them
Hope someday somehow i can repay the kindness of yours thank you so much ❤

@@imanshokryeh5406 it’s important to know how to shape and smooth pans with air hammers, most essential process of building. Pressing the notes gets the pan almost there, but still needs traced borders/smoothed. Make sure the tone fields are flat. You need to torch the shell to gold. Tuning takes years of practice, you need to loosen up the notes so you can adjust the compression/ tension.

@@imanshokryeh5406 the octave sits at the ends of the note, usually bottom border. The fifths are at the two other sides on left and right. You tune the fundamental by loosening the entire note. You can lower the fund/ octave hammering down the top and bottom ends. Lower the fifth from the sides. You need to try getting all the pitches at same time to get them all evened out. Once they’re all close, you just keep adjusting the notes until there all there

My D ding is 40 cents higher. Do you think I can tune it at home? How can I do that? Thank you

I wouldn’t try, who was your builder? I’d ship it to the builder for a fresh up tuning
