It's a huge drum & Street Food Party in Tokyo during Golden Week!
Tokyo's Darkness Festival, Kurayami Matsuri, is held in Golden Week, I hope you enjoy all the huge taiko drums and japan street food! There's a huge variety when planning your Golden Week Masturi, perhaps you'll head to Fuchu city in Tokyo and and find the annual Kurayami Festival - a Darkness festival dating back over 1000 years!
Japan has countless fun festivals, and this darkness fest is no exception, with all the drums and mikoshi, as well as all the Tokyo street food at this Golden Week Japan Festival. The Tokyo Darkness Fetival Kurayami Festival is a lot of fun!
This video was actually filmed back in 2017 while I studied at Tokyo's TUFS University, before I returned to Japan to teach on the JET Program in Fukushima. Stay tuned for my adventures traveling across Japan, including the upcoming vlogs of my adventures with my mum!
