Exodia Deck Profile (April 2024/Post Banlist)

- Hey guys! Today’s deck profile is an update on my original Trap Exodia deck! I love this deck a lot and with the unbanning of Chicken Game and the recent release of Upstart Goblin, I thought I’d update you guys on how I’m playing it now.

Awesome, needed this because I love using traps, and exodia is my fav deck so yeah
I’m glad you enjoyed the profile! I love this version of Exodia too and might even try to put some Paleozoic monsters in it in the future!

Is it worth running ghost belle to prevent your opponent from banishing Exodia pieces from your GY?

Thunder of Ruler, Nightmare's Steelcage, Swords of Revealing Light, heck even Mirror Force wouldn't be bad picks either.
These are great picks! Only problem with the two spells is that they can be destroyed prior to the battle phase and then made obsolete. “Thunder of Ruler” on the other hand may have some potential. Even “Messenger of Peace” or “Synchro Zone” have potential!

It is but a card like upstart goblin that let's you draw one card basically makes it a 39 2 of them a 38 card and so on so on
Do you have to return exodia parts to your hand from the grave? Or could you just leave them there if you want?
You can leave them there and keep the Incarnates as big beatsticks and win that way. But I find it more beneficial to actually win with the pieces in your hand. Just my 2 cents

@@tautuaom Ngl I put Obliterate back to 3. But yeah you got lots of options with traps. Depends on your locals
Why Jar of Greed instead of Legacy of Yata-Garasu?
Good question! Reason: I used to run both but with “Chicken Game” limited and “Upstart Goblin” at three, those three cards basically just replaced it. You could definitely run it over “Jar of Greed” if you’d like to but I like the nostalgia of it.

How do u actually win? Cant find a way other than drawing your pieces
Dumping the pieces makes the Incarnates a huge beat stick and you can keep dumping pieces off of Obliterate to compulse your opponents monsters to maintain them as beat sticks

😂 The purpose of gif card is a long with upstart goblin is to give opponent large amount of LP so it works well with chicken game and hope for escape for no DMG to controller and massive draw advantage
I don't understand obliterate and exodia Incarnate... You loose a lot of pieces with these cards. And if it doesn't play out right, they're in the graveyard. And there are nog cards to call em back...
You could always run a copy or two of “Dark Factory of Mass Production” if you feel the need. I just wanted to use it because a lot of people suggested it to me but I do see your side of it!
