What a rare find! This is the best version of this song. I used to have this version on mp3 from the internet of long ago... There's a live version of Tree Gets Wheeled Away with guitar distortion after the first chorus that makes the song transcend words and chords. I can't seem to listen to any other version of that song. I've been trying to find it with no success. Maybe it will come back to me eventually.

It wasn't about his "perfect" song writing it was the songs that wern't perfect i like you can't just practice at lyric writing and poetry and expect to become good, it's something you are not that you can just learn.
Lol Max bemis is an amazing singer.His voice is intense and unique.And bryce has a great vocal range.Maybe your just used to the singers that keep themselves in that safe zone.=]
i'm the same way, i don't like any of the lyrics i write. and it's probably because i know so many of conor's lyrics so well that i find myself comparing mine to his- which makes me feel like mine suck. (which they probably do anway) but try not to compare yours to his, it's just not fair haha
i need to do a valadictery project for my art class tomorow and im looking for inspiration thats why i looked to my favorite inspirational singer conor. does anybody have any ideas? i was thinking like a giant painting or a huge drawing of....something that sort of has a theme with his music? anyy ideas plzz message like as soon as possible cause i need an idea by today
nah i never edit i am a bit self concious yeah, but i think my lyric writing suffers because i am quite illiterate and not very clever, i do find it very hard getting my ideas on paper or even out of my mouth.
