hey glock you can use middle mouse wheel to adjust the height of building items allowing to be placed indoors and any melee weapon will destroy those cars great video keep up the great work.
Glad to see another TH-camr I follow playing this game! It's great fun and so far has been a great game! Hopefully you like it enough to play a series on it =) Edit: All melee weapons can break cars for scrap, I typically use a sledgehammer, but any weapon works. Getting a cooking station and Rain catcher up early negates most of the water issues (since you can purify without tabs, and rain is clean water)

@@wkeil1981 to each their own. Actually has things in the game PZ doesn't offer...traders, enemy AI, traders, rotating camera...things the community has been asking for over a decade, but, to each their own! Hope you give it a try sometime!

@@Wargsy I like the idea of PZ, but it's a steep learning curve. This looks a lot more accessable.
Mini series is definitely the way to go. Really enjoyed Sunkenland but would have gotten boring quickly with the same in its current early state. I agree completely about this being a little more arcade focused than Project Zomboid and it's got huge potential. Added this straight to my wishlist and I'll be keeping an eye out for sure

Glad you are having fun with it! It's really quite a fun game.
For shooting, if you put the curser on the zombie's head you can just headshot one after another from a distance, takes a bit of getting used to though. With a shotgun you can fire to the back of a group of zombies and it will hit a bunch of them at the same time. :D

In Project Zomboid you can put a backpack into a backpack, but the encumbrance reduction is only applied once so it's not possible to insert a full container into a similar or smaller container, but you can put them in a bigger one. Exceptions seem to apply to some situations, like car seats can exceed their capacity if it's only one item like a generator or a backpack.

I was in the test early and it was too wonky for me then, definitely turning into something fun now it seems. I might also get back in.
Looks promising so far, and I think HumanitZ will be a welcome alternative for those who previously might have found the background mechanics/steep learning curve of Project Zomboid too daunting to enjoy playing. Speaking from PZ experience, maybe the lack of zombies is due to a slow propagation over the next few days and the Hard zone you started in has a higher spawn rate or density?

when shooting, you need to point at Z - if you point behing, you will have miss (as in you aim into ground).
So, aim for head/body.
theres a RV with bigger storage for cargo and weapon and build in stove that lets u cook North East of the map at the ranch
Crowbar and other melee weapons let you harvest cars as well, as long as you get a spark you get the stuff.
But the sledgehammer is the best one apparently.

To place containers, work benches etc you need to adjust the height.
Where it says marker on the map .. you can type your own words and make each marker more descriptive

A-Team FTW, I used to watch that all the time! Lucky find, that. I do like the concrete fences/walls on some of the houses, looks like we might be able to fortify those somewhat eh?
there was this free to play browser game that was a top down zombie shooter it was actually pretty sweet i cant remember the name for the life of me
This is the next GOAT. for early access now the game is already amazing. 3D view with better graphics easier mechanics, have Skill traits, not too realistic like neee to take care of ur char health, the Dev tester & community are VERY responsive they quickly fix ALL the bugs error when someone complaints about it aren't like PZ. It's definitely the next best thing! Been playing for 80hours now & it's really fun and addictive.

my only qualm with project Zomboid was that due to the isometric camera, firearms are notoriously hard to aim properly, especially against single targets, I hope this game doesn't suffer from the same set back

To be honest, I can fully see the appeal of a game that isn't and never will be to the depth of Project Zomboid, because that game can get pretty overwhelming at times. Sometimes you just want to chill, but in Project Zomboid, you can't just chill in that game, because even one mistake can lead to the end of the whole run.

Gave it a try but couldn't get the hang of having to focus on moving the small targetting cursor around in order to hit anything, even changing the color of the cursor didn't make it feel any less awkward

Played for 3 hrs with my brother.. brother got stuck in the wall and had to self terminate and the vehicle we found FLIPPED over and couldn't be re-flipped.. just by walking past it.. it was parked.. The game has a long way to go but decent for early access

This guy is definitely a Mafia Don who barged in to his adult sons bedroom, chastises him for being weak, then downloads the game he saw his son playing, and secretly moonlights as a youtuber.
This looks like a cool premise, I really like the radio tower concept to get air drops spawning in, that's a neat idea.
Not a fan of top down view myself. The game feels a bit slow, but maybe it'll get more interesting. I'll keep watching it for now.

You have to hold shift and use the scroll to adjust the storage bin inside houses
bit of a bug with the placement of things in buildings, like your chest. if you press middle mouse wheel and scroll you can alter the height, and place things.
another similar game to this style of top down zombie looter is zed zone definitely recommend it.
U should try the whole vehicles and see if they have ur battery and whatever else u need
Make sure to go all the way around vehicles i.e quarter panels for the gas door to siphon gas. And you'll need a crowbar to get into locked trunks.
I’m not a fan of top-down games, either, but Glock makes the zombie apocalypse FUN. Let’s see more. 👍🏼
