Oh shit this is it!! It’s game time. Kenny took a parkour class at Barbie University while his major was still “undecided.” That was before he dropped out and got hooked on cough medicine.
I've always been curious what labour day is for. Is it to celebrate tradespeople? Or just all workers in general? And is there a tradition for it, or just a national day off work?
@@itsmikedev i mean i’ve only worked construction since i got out of high school and i’ve always gotten the day off. i think it’s just a national labor movement recognition but a lot of like customer service jobs don’t give labor day off
Amazing dude! I went from a loser at this game to now starting to play multiplayer with my daughter while she is at college. Definitely helped me with that Glock. Great series! 💙🧡
Man, I love your content so much. You have always been an inspirational person to me. I always look forward to watching your videos. You are amazing. I have been a fan of yours for years. I remember when you were playing Seven Days to Die when it was in Alpha
I can confirm that you can get an engine from a loot bag. It is EXTREMELY rare - we're taking maybe 1 in a thousand or so - but it is possible. I speed looted a ton of bags on a horde night and noticed the engine when I looked over the haul from that night. And I don't think it is red bags only because I hadn't looted the red bags yet so it came from either a yellow or a blue. Chance decides.
When you were showing the base, I started thinking it might be easier to have all the hatches on the left up already, so when you retreat, you only have to worry about the ones on your right in the back-up path. That is one hell of a base though.
I built this same base, the only thing I did different was i put the electric fence posts back 1 row in the wall and ran the wire through solid metal blocks, yeah you can never get to them to repair them, but as long as you wire it up right and then seal them in you are golden.
They take small, incremental damage when the zombies run through the wire, so they will break eventually no matter what. At least that's how it was in prior versions of the game, I haven't specifically seen this in 1.1
A fantastic base design. Very Glock9, and I can see some unique ways of adding to it. Apocalypse is over, eh? I still haven't explored enough of 1.0 to watch, but I WILL binge it once I do!
Just started binge watching your content glock. I remember you saying you’d consider a knuckles only play through if you do, you’d be in for a challenge! I got curious, maxed the whole fortitude tree had iron knuckles and beer. And the first 7 day horde with 24 zombie count in the burned forest wiped me on scavenger with jog speed and I can usually defend a 7x7 hut on insane with slow zombies
Great base! It is helpful to see an intense stress test. Getting a chance to tweak little details like using doors instead of hatches at the last stand that could save your skin, but you wouldn't think of that until it is too late. Very fun series; look forward to the next one!
Instead of building 4 walls thick you could just dig a 3-4 block trench around the outside of your base with stairs leading out at the entrance in case any fall in. They will just run for the stairs instead of beating on your walls.
I was playing with a friend of mine, and it was day 42, and we had about 6 demolishers one after the other. Took out most of the base foundation. I spent half the battle just running around trying to repair what I could. We survived, but having those demolishers show up made me realize that the elevated bases are much more preferable to the bases that are on ground level.
Nice, glad to see you spawned Demolishers in. I'm excited for your next series and hoping the modders are going ham on new guns/vehicles (and perhaps a learn-by-doing skill tree)
GG Mr Glock9 …I’m thinking about tunnel and cavern base and traps ..all under ground ..series of tunnels leading to traps, bit like the cube set up ..would have to doctor the timings etc .. and still go upstairs for materials and books lol .. anyway great vids ..cheers .
Great base concept for sure. I've thought of some ideas to force the same concept to just one side of the blade traps that I *think* will work and make the hallway of death only 1 block wide. Now we have to wait for the next series though, which is sad.
Thank you for the interesting series. 😀 Here are some ideas for a new miniseries, Iron Fist: You are one of the strongest boxers in the world, you love to travel, but one day your single-seater plane crashed over an area that is closed due to an unknown infection. You manage to contact your team and they tell you that they can only pick you up in 21 days because it takes so long to get access to this closed area. You have maxed out your The Brawler's skills, Lightning Hands, Pain Tolerance, Healing Factor, Iron Gut and Rule 1: Cardio. You need to find the building (where you landed with a parachute) and survive there for 21 days(3 horde nights), because the infection will kill you outside
On the ps5 I tried your base with 300% experience and 64 zombie spawn.... Needless to say it did not go well. I had fun but I'm not nearly as good as Big Dady Glock9 is.
*Glock: at the horde base you could replace the bocks above the blade traps, that hold them in place, with scaffolding ladders for repairing. You could then go up to floor 2 and repair the blade traps if they get badly damaged. You could also replace them if they get destroyed. Same with the electrical fences. Then you could use a steel block in front of each electrical fence instead of weak hatches. Just a thought! Great series btw! I can’t wait for the next one! Let’s goooo!!*
I ended up putting a row of concrete blocks down the middle of the hallway under the blade traps. I built just a single hallway and put a couple of shotgun turrets up. I built a cage on top. I spend most of my time in the cage killing and let the shotgun turrets do their thing in the hallway. Also put bars down the middle so I can also shoot into the hall from the cage
The electric fence trap wire can go through blocks. It may be better to put a steel block instead of a hatch, and move the traps one block further. The downside here is a bit of a wonky cable management, so a trade off like everything else
I'm having a tough time using this base design. All they want to do it beat through the walls where I'm standing. Maybe 10 all night go down the trap hall, the rest hit the walls.
I've been noticing what I believe to be a bug, where electrical connections just disappear randomly. Had the same thing happen to me even though I tested traps on a screamer horde day before horde night. Wire connecting switch to traps just disappeared 😔. The failed electric fence on phase 2 might not have been your fault
Damn bro this Base is Ironclad Glock if you didn't spawn in the demolishers they won't even get past Phase 1 I think most people won't go past day 50 before they get bored you said it this base is legitness
Idea for a series. Each horde you are allowed a set amount of blocks. You use those blocks to defend the trader. If they die you move on to a new biome. Or something of that nature.
Yup, those demolishers will show up at the most random of times. One of my games, I had several direwolves show up on day 7, and I was NOT prepared for that
Remember that you can run electrical wire through blocks. At least you could last alpha. I think you can put down a steel plate and in the same square put a post. Give it a shot.
Trap Base would've made Thick44 proud...No cheese just piles of undead! Perfect for a Human Man Warrior like Glock9 (though I suspect one of those demos broke a relay for your trap switch @ phase 2)
Poor Glock.. You can't get killed by the zombies and you would really need the challenge. How about a primitive challenge? Only tools and bows. Maybe the pipe shotgun (=plunderbuss) as well. And molotovs.
Oh shit this is it!! It’s game time.
Kenny took a parkour class at Barbie University while his major was still “undecided.” That was before he dropped out and got hooked on cough medicine.
I love that everyone makes the thick flags..gone but never forgotten ❤
no one lives forever, that's not the point, The point is to create something that will live forever and the man did it. RIP Human Man Warrior
@CashMoneyMerta that's exactly it
I can't build a base unless I have a Thick flag to put up
Love when the series finishes like this .. because it shows that the base was truly done, no point playing 1000 days to prove it :)
20:00 Glock got cabin fever + Ptsd combo after trapped inside. 😂
Can't wait for the next serie!
I love that you do videos like this with bases from the most successful series. Makes for an excellent finale.
nothin like a monday morning post to start labor day off right

Best 7 days to die series I've ever seen! Awesome job Glock9!!!
I can just imagine glock on the base, looking through his sniper. And right before the horde comes, he says " it begins"
Weird . . . I imagine him saying, "This is dangerous AND stupid . . . "
And THIS is why Glock doesn't build all-out bases/use traps. He's just too OP.
Great work man. The series was wonderful, as always.
I can confirm that you can get an engine from a loot bag. It is EXTREMELY rare - we're taking maybe 1 in a thousand or so - but it is possible. Banging intro beat!
Thank you, great series. Picked up some really helpful tips. Very fun
Coffee and a glock video... not a bad way to start the holiday
damn glock... thats one hell of an intro, first 25 seconds
When you were showing the base, I started thinking it might be easier to have all the hatches on the left up already, so when you retreat, you only have to worry about the ones on your right in the back-up path. That is one hell of a base though.
Absolutely loved this series. Can't wait to see the next one and what you come up with
That opening sequence was super evocative of Unreal Tournament's intro. Retro Techno goodness! Your intros are so good.
I'm surprised how well that base help up. Looking forward to the next series.
I did find one.. ONE.. engine in a red loot bag. Once. Out of 150 days, out of probably a couple hundred red bags. So it’s possible, just very rare
Always fun watching your series. That NJ humor is the best.
congrats on a very successful, engaging and funny as hell series. easily one of the best. good job, G.

Loved the series :) I think you should do one with like Neebs or Dora see what happens :)
That intro had me dancing on my lunch break 🤣
Nice trap base
Looking forward to the next series as i recover from a broken leg. Thanks for your content.

Thanks for another great series, was very entertaining!

That's a damn good base Glock...see you in the next episodes....
Brilliant Series! Thanks for putting it out on Labour Day
Always good to learn from your mistakes! I am looking forward to your next series!
Nice, glad to see you spawned Demolishers in. I'm excited for your next series and hoping the modders are going ham on new guns/vehicles (and perhaps a learn-by-doing skill tree)
That music at the beginning had District Zero vibes. Can’t wait to see the next challenge.

Grand end to a great series. hard to know the flaw in stage 2 if the zombies never made it that far in normal play 😄
Yo that beat in the beginning of the video was badass what a way to introduce the video hell yeah 👍
Great series loved every bit . Best was the mountain lion moment . Shit can hit the fan when your stupid . Looking forward to the next series

Awesome video happy Labor Day
I don't know why, but the simple fact that this looks like a building instead of the more traditional horde base designs is actually quite nice!
Didn't need to see the vid (but i did) the intro music slapped so hard i liked instantly
Great series ty for the entertainment!
Please do midnight rider would love to see that series in the new game engine
legend. loved the series. bring on the next❤
Seriously good base glock
Awesome video. What if you would add ten furnaces for heat to bring on some screamers lol that’d just extend it. But maybe they’d bring demolishers?
This was a great run! Thanks for the entertainment!
Great series, thanks! Throwables only next? 😂
Great series!!
Chicken dinner! Thanks for having us man :D
TY, great Series.

oh man!! half a mil subscribers! just noticed that. well done my guy.
I just finished the day 35 horde and had 8 demos, with a 15-block tall dropper base in the pine forest lol
Yup, those demolishers will show up at the most random of times. One of my games, I had several direwolves show up on day 7, and I was NOT prepared for that
blade traps are like thick44... They get kills but they also get in the way a bit :) all hail the wyvern king

great run. LEGEND

Yeahhh, good friggin’ stuff
A nomadic series next hopefully 🙏
Great job Simon
Got an engine from a direwolf red bag yesterday in my playthrough
