Your pep talk today made me cry. You nailed it for me this morning. This is my first Christmas without my daughter. She loved Christmas. I am having a hard time getting into the spirit of the season even though I know that is what she would want. I have never been to Disney during Christmas. I am going for my first Christmas visit next week just to try to spark some Christmas joy. You can’t be sad in the happiest place on earth

I love your talks. This struck a cord with me. I miss my Dad so much this time of year. He loved Disneyland so much. I try to be the best person I can be everyday to honor him.

I see myself! We saw you yesterday but didn’t want to intrude on your filming. We were so happy to see the festival foods! I got the lassi too. It was awesome.
Lego Disney train. My boys love it.
My husband and I have a bit we do now whenever we watch your videos. When you tell the veiwer how special they are, I say “Chris is talking to me “ and my husband says “no, he’s talking to me” and we go back and forth.
Our brother-in-law lives in Indianapolis, so when our son was a toddler, we took him to the Indianapolis Children's Museum. OMG the train section was incredible. The best part was the room full of Thomas train tables. We could hardly get him away from there! Anyway we got him his first set, and that was the beginning of our epic train journey. He even learned his ABCs watching a train video over and over that taught train terms for every letter. We also love the "I Love Toy Trains" series, especially the Christmas ones Oh, and you have to take Amtrak day trips, and go and visit the Thomas engine when it comes to your local train station. Oh, and the toy train conventions too! Trains are awesome. Our son was on the spectrum and it was so rare that he showed real interest in anything, that when he actually did, we ran with it! Now he is 22 and graduated from business school and an amazing young man. I hope you got the train. Xoxo

Chris, I’m sure you get this all the time…You are so incredibly kind. Your thoughtfulness to say not everyone is happy and joyous around the holidays is so true! I think human nature makes us all want to try to fit in. this time of year rolls around, and for some it feels forced…oh this is the time of year I’m supposed to talk about how happy I’m, how grateful I am. But your right not all of us feel this way we sometimes can’t help but think about lost love ones, or have seasonal depression, or feel lost and alone. Your act of sharing this make a lot of us feel less alone and it’s ok to feel how we feel. Thank you! 😢

Thank you for acknowledging how difficult the holidays can be for some. I lost someone on Christmas Day 8 years ago and even now that day has a tinge of sadness and probably always will. Your reminder to live a way that would make them proud is how I've tried to live but every once in awhile I do need reminding and I thank you for that my friend!

Im sorry to hear that Steve... its a day that is supposed to be completely full of joy and when something like that happens it brings an inevitable feeling of sadness at some point in that day. My family and I try to dedicate a specific moment by releasing a balloon or a prayer and we do our best to enjoy the rest of the day. I wish you comfort during the holiday season :)

My boyfriend and I had the privilege of meeting you last week on our trip to Disneyland ☺️ it was such a joy to see you in person - you really do exude the same amount of happiness and kindness that I’ve seen through the screen! This one on the holiday season is so very appreciated…I just lost two of my grandparents this year and it’s hard to imagine the holidays without them. Chris, you're a hero as always!! I re-watched this today, and loved it as much as the first time. As Tera said before, you nailed it for me today, and it was just perfect. My point of this new post, however, is that I suspect that Miles will LOVE a train set. My wonderful, late father bought me my first Märklin electric train set when I was around 5. It was my favorite toy forever after, and I continued to play with it until I was in my mid-30s, and I still pine for it occasionally. One day, I may try to replace it.

I was JUST writing a list, before watching this, of what I want to make for Thanksgiving and I REALLY want to make my Mothers Stuffing but I can’t remember what she did to make it and I know I can just google a recipe but its not the same...Ya know? Your message about the holidays had me a little teary cause I miss her so very much. She passes Feb 26, 2017. Not that long ago and the holidays are always a bit hard for me. Im goin got have to call my little brother cause he has a better memory than me and see if he can remember what she did. After 5 years, I’ve gone from deep grief to celebrating it in her honor. The day we met Chris in person! What a red-letter day. Chris, you are the most lovely warm human. You said we made you feel like a million bucks - of course that’s how your vlogs always make us feel. Meeting you was such a topper to 3 fabulous days at the parks… so many great experiences this time (even practically drowning on Splash on Tuesday is among the top in retrospect, gotta laugh) but getting to meet you in the last two hours of our visit was the amazing perfect cherry on top. Already a big fan, but for your kindness & perceptivity in person we’re fans forever. For ex you said my daughter had a great haircut, lol her friend just did it and it was a worry on her mind… plus you said we looked alike, something no one has noticed in years. I just found your channel searching tips for Disneyland! My little girl is turning 10 and we are getting ready to take her after Thanksgiving to Disneyland to celebrate her birthday ! We are from Arizona and it's taking alot trying to make this come true for her. Your videos are always so happy and uplifting.
