Sad that the release is delayed, but I understand why because of these difficult times

Planet coaster has always had lots of delays, since the beginning. We don’t know why but it’s a great game at the end of the day

yeah it runs at like 30 fps on my gtx 1060, so unless its got 32 bit graphics i cant see it being playable on consoles

I'm curious as to whether any of the optimizations they do for the console versions will make their way down the pipeline to PC. Would be nice to have more leeway in terms of being able to play the game more smoothly on a wider variety of hardware.

Doubt it. A problem with the performance is that it uses dx11 not dx12 which uses the cpu far better. Obviously with a game that requires lots of load management & calculations, it's better to use dx12. Something i don't believe they can just switch to. I'm really hoping we see a PC2 with vastly better performance.
If they'll get more money out of you for it I'm sure they gladly will.

@@stacycerny3752 lie, just make the quality a little less and it can perfectly run it. The switch totally isn't that poor. Minecraft dungeons is also extremely HD (not the textures ofcource) and it works (loading takes a while but once it starts it works)

Alpactus say that to the Witcher the outer worlds and all the studios that said they will put games on the insanely powerful next gen ray tracing 8k capable machines as well as the switch. As long as there is demand for console games on the go(, which there is,) it will happen.
Now I do need to ask why frontier is such an dick. I hope they just port it later. Planet coaster would be way better than RCT Classic on my phone. Even though that is one solid port.

I adore PC, have since before most knew about it but tbh i'd much rather see a Planet Coaster 2 with improved performance, management, dynamic water etc.
Ah yes. Announce the game in November 2019 with a release date of summer 2020 and then once summer 2020 is about to begin, delete the original announcement and announce it again with a new release date of holiday 2020! Don’t forget to throw in the complete radio silence about the game in between both announcements, good job guys you really are professionals!

We are not launching on Switch. Planet Coaster: Console Edition is coming to PS4 and PS5, and Xbox One and Xbox Series X; they're all launching simultaneously in Holidays 2020 (end of the year).

I think it might be a launch title for 9th gen systems and will release on current gen on the same day as the 9th gen versions.

I think not, because of the performance. If you want to play it on the pc and build a big Park, you need a good Computer, so I think not

I hate to say it but I don’t think the switch would run the game that well. I could be wrong though. Yeah and I just read a reply from planet coaster saying it will not release on the switch.
Saying you’re not releasing it until next gen consoles are out is such a cop out. Why don’t you release it now for PS4 and Xbox one and then bring it out on the other consoles when they’re actually out. You’ve not given us any information for the past seven months, the game is ready to be released, we’re ready for it to be released and you decide to do this. Why!? We have been waiting years for this and you’re now delaying it for another 6 months for no good reason
They're waiting for the next gen consoles to show off how good the game is. I assume it won't be as good on the xbox one/ ps4 and they dont want to get a lower rating just because impatient people are angry.

Stacy Cerny they’ve already showed off how good the game is because it’s been out for almost 4 years already, bringing it out alongside next gen consoles makes no sense as they’ll probably just sell less copies

Didn't keep us updated since November, waited 6/7 months until they finally decide that June is a good time to update costumers but to say actually it's coming at Christmas! If you want "everyone to enjoy Planet Coaster at the same time", then why has it been on PC since 2016 and us console players have had to wait 6/7 months without hearing any updates!? Poor excuse and Awful costumer service!😠

@@jeremyforrest9777 I know that, but In my opinion I just don't think it's fair that current gen players should have to wait another 6 months (when we've already waited 7 months without being updated by the developers throughout that period) to play just for the sake of the players who can afford around £1,500 to buy the PS5 +£30 to just play the same time as current gen players. I get that it could be fantastic on PS5/Xbox one X, but it doesn't seem good costumer service to not update the current gen players throughout the past 7 months only to then be told that we have to wait another 6 months!

You know what, No planet coaster. This is unfair. You say summer and then ghost us for 6 FREAKING MONTHS and copy and paste answers to us. And NOW you come out in the original launch window and basically say " HAHAHA WAIT ANOTHER 6 SUCKAS". Your excuse is to bring it to next gen and current gen at the same time? Just release it on current gen now and release it on next gen in December. It's unfair to make us wait for the next gen consoles to be released to give us it. We probably wont even get a ps5 or x box series X so why should we wait for them to come out!? Disappointed
Chill, they are doing there best, if they reliese the game for all of the platforms at once the sales will go up cause it will be more of a big deal. I was upset too and I have been waiting for this game to come out on xbox one for 7 months now but they want it to be perfect and they want it to run well. I hope it runs well, I am an avid builder on coaster games (Theme Park Tycoon 2 on Roblox and Rolkercoaster Tycoon 3) and have always wanted to play Planet Coaster , but I was always low on money whenever the idea was in my head. I hope it runs really well!

Man, this game means a lot to me, I’ve been following up on this game for about 2 years now, I never had it though, I’m stuck with theme park tycoon 2 (in Roblox, That’s the only reason I even have it) I’ve watched let’s build the ultimate theme park a couple months after the first episode came out, I got told, that my dad wanted a PS5 to play sports games, and then I heard this news, then I got told no PS5, now in the latest episode of let’s build the ultimate theme park I got told that it’s coming to MAC, thank you for that, I can’t wait to play! (If my Mac can support it, hopefully it can)I swear this is like the best game ever, THANK YOU coming from one of your biggest fan’s

I know planet zoo it’s taking off but please don’t forget about Planco. There’s so much we still need. Like launcher RMC, RMC raptor, Intamin blitz, drop track and transfer tracks (something like hagrids magical creatures of verbolten), Mack xtreme spinning coaster, all next gen vekoma, Mack Big Dipper, two seater PTC trains and an update to interchangeable cars.

The music in the beginning of the trailer is horror heights and also because this is still getting coded to work on the PS4 and PS5, can you add Roller coasters being able to switch tracks. Also if you don’t know what I’m talking about search the ride the Mummy from Universal Studios Hollywood because it does that and also it’s really fun
