When an artist has as much fun as you did playing another artist's signature instrument, that's about the best endorsement one can get IMO. Maybe after I find a TM Stevens signature, I'll save and go looking for a Robert Trujillo sig. Thanks for making these demo videos.
I think this one has the corvette J/J pickup spacing, like a normal SSII with both pickups moved slightly towards the neck. One of the best sounding Warwicks ever built.
i don't really like warwick gear, i've played on it once, but i didn't find the sound good, i prefer when Trujillo was playing on Mike Tobias bass gear
matteo signorato Yes, nothing special. Basic slapping. Easy slapping impresses those who haven't dug into how amazing the bass can be: Marcus Miller, Victor Wooten.
matteo signorato See, that's the thing. He's not bad because he's not a technical virtuoso. He's bad because what he plays isn't good melodically, rythmically, creatively... He could suck at technique and still make amazing music. He could be a robot with perfect technique and make shitty music. He's got bad technique and what he plays isn't that good. He's just good enough for Metallica. People should not confuse the fact that they like Metallica with their musicians being instrumental and musical goals.
+palonazo I can play any Metallica and Infectious grooves song with ease, but I still think Rob is a good bassist. It's all down to opinion I suppose. I get why you say that. I think he does have some memorable lines though (punk it up, violent and funky, war inside my head, stop funkin with my head).

It's NOT a badass bridge it's a Schaller 3D bridge. Andy is a bass player, not a tech. Sometimes he doesn't know what the hell his talking about...
Bc Robert plays those bridges and prefers them on everything, even his Warwick.
