I am in southern Wisconsin, zone 5a and am overwintering lemon cypress, alstromeria, white heliotope, Zumba wax begonia, lantana, coleus, ruellia, dipladenia, geranium and gerbera daisy. I have a sunny nook with many window and skylights facing west and north so it stays cooler. Fortunately this weather is mind enough this week so I can finish up my fresh pots outside. I use winterberry, pinecones, dogwood branches and evergreens from our yard to be enjoyed during our long winter!
Wow, amazing that you're able to overwinter so much, Sue! And that you have all those winter interest things right in your yard...I'm jealous, we're pretty sparse in Evergreens and winter interest here. May try planting some next year even though they don't do real well in our soil. Enjoy!

I'm in 8b and don't have to do that. I think you folks in colder zones work much harder! great video
Oh brother, I'd have to agree hahaha! Thank you! It's always worth it though, so we keep living here! Enjoy less labor down there! :)
I wasn't aware that they can not overwinter outside. I don't have one but I was considering to get one. Thanks for sharing 🌲👍
My pleasure! Still absolutely worth getting! :)
