I can't believe this kid was pulled straight out of high school and is now at the Oscars

Dominic really impressed me in his first major screen role. He deserved to be Oscar nominated, and I'm looking forward to seeing his future projects.

he absolutely did ,and even if ordernary performance of ryan Gosling and Mark raffalo can be nominated so why not him he gives a superior performance than them
He did very well for his first role, but it was by no means Oscar worthy. He’s still very fresh into his career.

One of the great things about The Holdovers is it's his first acting role....ever. But you would never know that because he seemed so natural acting in it.
His voice is a gift. And he is also very authentic, humble, and funny.
That's the perfect look for him. It compliments his aesthetic as well as the mood of the film, set in the '70s.
