- Sean is often said to be the worst character in Third Strike. Probably true, but he might also be the most fun.
In this overview I cover his main strengths, and how you can make the most of his odd toolset in Third Strike.

The best defense is more offense. Strike first, strike hard, no mercy!! (Just kidding, I got that from a TV show I've been streaming because I wasn't invited to participate in Ad Fighter V, and I don't have much to do since Sensei Masters is tied up with the tournament)

As a sean main, there's one thing you forgot. c.fierce can be canceled easily. into hurricane kick and crackshoot (Ryubi kyaku if you don't play FF) c.Fierce also cancels into roll and shoryu cannon and hyper tornado. Has not great framerate but if you hit it it can make sean dangerous. Shoryu cannon is your best super. easily comboed into, good damage, hard to parry . If you land in the corner you can follow up with DP or shoryu cannon again. (Quick note: you can reset with standing medium punch after landing shoryu cannon in the corner.

I'm ready when you are, dude! We don't even have to do martial arts crap, we can just hang out at the park. I'll throw a bunch of basketballs at you and you can see how many you're able to bat away. I feel like it sounds stupid while I am writing this out, but trust me, it is super fun! It's kind of like dodgeball, but way more fun!
Btw I dont think his target combo is trash its decent especially for calling out empty jump ins. Or cross up attempts. As well as Foward HK. It's a bad button but up close of you have momentum and pressure on corner you can use that to best grab attempts. It's good against mako (still shitty button no less but it's a use)

Anyone that good with sean deserves the win cause they've clearly put the hours into learning the in's and outs of the game and done their fair share of getting the absolute snot beaten out of them online. Respect bro, i still can stand playing as him tho 😂

It's weird. This guy is quite literally the worst character in the game, yet he's my main and I actually do clap cheeks with him pretty often.
@@iminyourwalls8309 comparatively speaking, he is the worst, since there's no "real" reason to pick him over Ken, Ryu or Akuma.
Same with me. He may have bad framedata but I believe in his struggle to be the best! It's like the player is also trying to break through the competitive barrier amongst the street fighter giants on the roster
Another thing, no one expects a grab after basketball Oki. If they know how to parry this works 95% of the time. After that they start respecting your Oki more and blocking instead of going for that sick parry.

It's kinda nuts just how well the universal mechanics can make bottom characters still playable in SFIII.

@@SimplyBmcHD ik it's not a link I'm saying whenever I do it, it seems that LK sends them too far away for CL.HK to come out. Whenever I do it, only far HK comes out, and if I want CL.HK I have to walk forward, which is what I don't think I'm supposed to do.
@@BigmanJesusECDJ your probably just not hitting cr lk deep enough, either that or you are walking back a frame after cr lk, because otherwise it should work well, especially when combined with Kara grab!
