Story is transitioning into another level of development, which also includes pushing her boundaries and abilities... going from that of a three year old to the four to five year old. Always involves some frustrations, temper tantrums, refusals to follow the old as she attempts “running” and “stumbling” into the new. As a parent and grandmother, I found the best is to give her as much freedom to explore and stumble, within the bounds of safety and parental sanity/needs. Lets face it, parents have needs too and there must be a gentle structure that allow for that and for Story. Much love to a wonderful family.
This episode is presenting different emotions sadness for being apart to loved ones, excitement for the new home, happiness that Story is okey, admiration to Phwah Phwah’s beauty with that flower and loving your resiliency❤️❤️❤️
Hello I totally feel you and abou your pup. I just had to put down my loving dog Mochi 2 days ago. She was diagnosed with a very aggressive lung cancer and treatment was no option for her. I love dogs and they are one of the best creatures in the world. They really are truly special.
Absolutely agree with you about not filming Story's tantrums. She's entitled to her privacy. Your dog Eden is a sweetheart and it must be a comfort that she's being well cared for by your brother.
It's quite ironic that this is Dad's dream island, and the 8mile family wasn't as enthusiastic about staying longer in the Philippines when they first came here. At most this might be 3rd or lower in their list of countries to settle in to. Now it has come full circle, with Dad being the guest in the family's own future house in Siargao.
Eden looks so sad. :( He must have been missing you so much. Please do a face time with Eden and show it to us on your next vlogs. It should help comfort him. Been watching you for 5 years now and I've been missing Eden too seeing him on your vlogs. Take care my favourite family.. sending you love from Brisbane, Australia..
My husband Ervin & I Arlene from Chicago, ILLINOIS, USA , We Love Watching you guys very often. Enjoy there in the Philippines with your lovely cute daughter & granny.
It doesn't matter which place you are at. What matters is you are happy together with ur loved ones. I am glad u found a place where u will be safe. I also personally put high regards on ur wise decisions over this pandemic situation. You are an inspiration. Story is so blessed. Best wishes on your journey.
You are very mindful and sensible parents to Story. I admire you both for that. I laughed when J mentioned the entire vlog was done on that front porch.
Thank you for an update on Eden, I love how you care about all beings and things around you I know that Eden misses. you as much as you miss her and I'm sure she can't wait to be reunited with you
I know exactly how you feel. Ive been separated from my other half and my fur kid since January then Covid struck. I am missing them so much. Like J said....almost feels like life is slipping past :-(
Both you and Sacha are such great parents to Story and Eden. It's really important to preserve children's dignity at an early age, to ensure they grow up as a confident, individual and understand they can make their own healthy choices in life. As parents, we can only help steer them to make healthy choices, but we can't make it for them. This is how they learn from their little mistakes, and we can only hope as parents, life lessons will resonate within them. Good job Sacha and J!
I feel the same way as you do J, about my 2 dogs Marley 10 years old and Storry 9 years old , they are my furry grandchildren and I love them dearly, I hate being away from them for to long. My love to your mum and extended family here in UK and, and your family in the Philippines I hope lockdown ends soon for you all.
I have watched you from the begining. Luv your chanel.i misa edan alto she realy is part of your loveley family. Hoping you get to see edan soon.she is such a loveley dog
Hope the openings of your island will be an adventurous one so you can move around a bit....have some fun and beautiful times...much love to you all...Kathleen from the desert in California
Take care guys...and watch out for falling coconuts... specially for Story who love to walk around underneath the coco trees. Good luck for the new changes coming your way there. Always watching you - from Riyadh.
Sad to say your fur daughter surely misses you alot and we hope you'd find the chance to be reunited with her soon! She's lucky to have been left in good hands..it is best to allow Story to handle and understand her feelings and give her the freedom to enjoy and appreciate her privacy as well, even at a young age, perhaps to guide her when she may not fully understand why she maybe moody or emotional at times, due to lack of sleep, stress too, lack of attention and just be there in her growing & developing stages...Kids now are very smart and rather brave to explore things on their own.Soon Sacha's Dad may travel back here to join you again in a new adventure over there soon! Take care y'all and tight hugs to our darling Story!!
I know how you feel Jay, We have black Poodle and he will be 17 yrs. old next month, and we know he won't be with us much longer, but the only thing we could do give them much love. I hope you guys will reunite with him soon.
I never had a dog as I had three sons two factory’s , two shops and forty employees so no time for animals, but your dog misses you ‘ it’s in her eyes , I love your honesty x
Been watching you guys since day 1 of the lockdown and we find your videos to be uplifting, just full of positivity which everyone needs. Story is just adorable, she's growing up so quickly. Thank you for your videos. - Earl (Pasig City Philippines)

Hi Jay! My real name is Eric Chavez. Me and my wife, Nora here in Imus Cavite has been watching your family's adventures daily since you were stranded there in Siargao. I heard you're looking for car to drive around and you're fond of having old cars. Yes I agree it's pretty cool to drive around in an old car specially when it's "tricked out" to loo'k better. I saw your Ford Escort and that looks AWESOME! However, I believe it won't be practical or a good idea to have one there in Siargao, especially there are roads that are rough and car repair shops are not that plenty. The potential concerns you have to consider in having an old car is the RELIABILITY and AVAILABILITY OF MAINTENANCE AND SPARE PARTS in case your car broke down and needs repair. So you really have to think twice if you are really considering of having one. Now if you're really adamant to have an old car my advise to you is to get a Toyota Corolla year model 1989 to 1993, they are popularly known as Small Body Toyotas. There are still a number of those old models rolling around in the country because of its reliability, good suspension and availability of parts. Here in the Philippines, Toyota is the most popularly used brand even the old ones because of the advantages I told you. Plus most of the mechanics around in the country are very familiar, if not an expert in terms of repair of Toyotas. Even the fleet of taxi cabs used in the country are almost all Toyotas. These explains why Toyotas are the most popular in the Philippines and fetches a higher resale value as compared to the other, even the old ones. The usual saying here is Toyotas are the best because even the remotest areas in the Philippines the spare parts are available. Next are the Hondas, though parts are pretty much available too, but some parts are way more expensive than Toyotas. ANother thing to think about is the maintenance of airconditioning units of the cars. I heard also that you need a car with a good working AC system. I tell you now that you might have problems in looking for available parts such as compressors, evaporators, etc for other brands, except for Toyotas and Hondas. You might say that I'm just biased to Toyotas..yes I am because all the things I told you are true here in the Philippines. you can verify or vAlidate what I said from the folks who are fond of cars or mechanics there in Siargao. If you're staying in Manila, I wont prevent you of having other brands because you will find it much easier to have your cars repaired in case of trouble. But there in the provinces like Siargao? Nah! I'm just concerned that if you're really bent of having an old car chances are you'll be having a terrible headache when it comes to repairs and looking for spare parts if you'll be having other cars aside from Toyota and Honda. If you'll be asking me what else aside from those two brands will be a good choice, then it's Mitsubishi. I warn you not to get Korean and European cars specially the old ones. To be safe, for those makes get only those 2015 models and above to ensure that the car will serve you for a longer time and will not bog down anytime soon....but you have to shell out a way way bigger amount to buy those new ones. If you're interested in building up the old Toyota Corolla year model 1989 to 1993 I told you earlier, I'll gladly send you pics of plenty of my friends cars with cool setups. Just give me your email or Facebook Account. Stay safe! Send my best regards to your lovely wife, to your mother and also to super cute Story! :)
Hello guys! Oreo is also good for snacks or a dessert after a too spicy meal! Here in Albany, NY, some are opening their businesses. I haven't been watching your vlog for that long... But I know enough how much you love Eden... 🙏🙏🙏 That once lockdown is at ease... Eden and you Brother could come with Story's Legos 😂 to the Philippines. 🙏🙏🙏 Only love for your family ❤️♥️♥️
Hello kuya J...love your quarantine vlogs ..been following you since day 1...love your family and your mother reminds me of my lola ( grandmother ).keep safe kuya J and family...hugs
Watching your vlogs, make me realize how Siargao is so beautiful with the sunrise and sunset view, so amazing!. . Don't worry about Story's tantrums, it's part of growing up. Just talk to her and advise her that having these tantrums often won't make her a good person nor a happy person. Looking forward to watching your daily vlogs. Take care.!!!
I felt sad, i also miss our dog Jasper... He passed away last sunday and the saddest part is he is gone and we are away.... Im an ofw working here in hong kong and my boyfriend work in manila... I cant stop crying when they send us his photo... I miss my dog so much... Our last bonding is last december and January when i take my vacation in the Philippines... Im going to upload his video into my you tube channel too but not now, i still cant.... 😭😭😭
Oh, Eden is adorable. You must really miss her. When I came home to Baguio City in March 1, I left my pet cat, a turkish angora, in Saudi Arabia where I work. I left him to very nice lady who takes care of him like her own. I miss him so much that everytime I see a photo, I cry. But, this coming month of June seems to be full of hopes and promises. So, I am really positive that I will be back to the sand pit next month so I can see my furr ball and be back to the frontline. Have a great day guys!!
Go check out uncle Omar's Full UK LockDown Vlogs here instagram.com/o.becreative/ So good to see Eden again in the videos
Eight Miles from Home the mask is 🤣🤣
Don't be silly. Quarantine won't be lifted just because some people want to reunite.
Good brother taking care of Eden
@@emilybarrance6460 are you silly? Ofcourse that's not the only reason why quarantine should be lifted up.
Thank you for early vlog. Hi Story
Story is transitioning into another level of development, which also includes pushing her boundaries and abilities... going from that of a three year old to the four to five year old. I just have to watch every day. You got me through my bout of Couvid in April and lingering winter in Toronto in May. Thank you lovely family.
