Can apply for DSWD health assistant. My brother had heart surgery last July in PHC. The total cost is 500K but we pay only 65K.

The irony that I spoke about medical insurance in the Philippines with my friend today. It turned out there’s hospitals in the Philippines that accepts American medical coverage from Kaiser. They need more options like this to foreigners.

As a foreigner if you are considering living in the Philippines it is extremely important that you purchase health insurance that covers your medical expenses in the Philippines. The public health system is generally not good in the Philippines however there are many private hospitals that are very good and up to date. These private hospitals often have relationships with particular insurance companies so if you have a preference for a particular hospital then make sure your insurance company has a relationship with that hospital for the best cover.
Of course if you intend to holiday in the Philippines get travel insurance before you leave and don't do activities that are not covered. Renting motorcycles when you do not have a licence for one in particular is a very dangerous thing to do because your insurance will not cover you. You have been warned....

Just take indigency certificate, then apply for philhealth indigency, then just for approval for a week, then, if you already have it, you can have your surgery to any government hospital for free.

Well, even if you don’t pay upfront in the NHS and it’s free, the current state it’s in right now is such a mess and you wouldn’t want to go to any UK hospitals at the moment. The NHS is on its knees, waiting times in A&E is between 8-11 hours, waiting for ambulance is like waiting for forever. Don’t even mention about getting an appointment with your GP. If you’re over 65 and suffering from an acute illness, you are more likely not to get scanned and less likely to get tests majority of time. A lot of Brits romanticise the NHS but it’s all a mess now and people are dreading getting ill now.

From $37K to $65K that's the minimum range of profit return every month I think it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family. ❤️
