I've just had my 2nd one of these delivered by Amazon. The 1st one was returned and this new one is going back also because they don't work.
I install a SATA drive and an M.2 drive, turn it on and only the SATA LED on the device lights up. I have tried 3 different M.2 drives but the M.2 LED never illuminates (as seen at 3:57) no matter what I do.
Because it can't see the drive, it won't try cloning anything.
I am trying to clone a SATA drive to an M.2 drive and yes, the destination drive is larger than the source drive.

Can you access both the SATA and NVMe drive via the USB at the same time?

Fantastic!! Will you please develop a 4 Bay M.2 Thunderbolt enclosure?

No, that's too expensive. Why do you need Thunderbolt speeds on a M.2 NVMe SSD? To see full 3100MB/s write speed?

@@mactastic144 Yes I do. We work in 8K video...speed is everything

is it possible to use nvme slot like an external enclosure... without external power? (just auto power from usb type c) .?

You only need external power for desktop hard drives

Greetings. I'd assume that the power cable is meant to be used when you are about to clone files from one drive to another without the need of a computer. The question is... You need to use the power cable when plugging it in to a computer with the USB C cable, or the device will just work without the need of the power cable as a regular external hardrive would? Thanks.

No it connects over USB, not PCIe

I wish you would stop trying to sell it to "me".
    It's just a usb 3.2 to m.2 adapter.
Nothing special or magical about it.
