I created a few kits and put them up in our Etsy store. Thanks. etsy.me/3Fp1xYF

That's amazing, I love how you repurposed a vehicle that normally would have been stripped for parts or would have cost a fortune to rebuild.

    • @ActionRobotPunch

Thanks. I really appreciate that. Exactly how I feel about “saving” an old toy.

  • @dustinkordish

Phenomenal. I’ve been wanting kits like these for years - there are a lot of potentially fantastic ways that many existing vehicles could be improved up or retrofit for other purposes. I wish I had the ability (and time) to realize some of the ideas I have 😬

It is fun thinking about other ways to use the vehicles. So many possibilities. Thanks for watching.

MIND. BLOWN. I feel like I just took the red pill, this is EPIC! What a game changer! I can't afford a 3d printer, but this is making me look at my pile of styrene with renewed interest. Keep being awesome! Thank you so much for sharing this!

Made a gear design very similar to the click cannon feature the kenner org falcon had? Might even add a spring tension opt

    • @ActionRobotPunch
      @ActionRobotPunch  3 ปีที่แล้ว

That's what I'm struggling with now. Creating some type of clicking joint that'd be strong enough to hold the crane in place. I might just settle on pins that can be removed then reinserted at various heights. It's surprising how much force is on that joint when there's a load at the end of the crane. And the 3d resing prints aren't as resilient as plastic. Thanks for watching!

    nicely done!
it sure beats the trailer thing - towing Hasbro tried to sell us.
just how hard was it for them to just take the base of another vehicle
like you did, and offer us something worth the joe line?
I never bought it, it did nt help that the colours were right out of some circus.
it lacked serious realism, not mentioning that it s weight could nt handle most vehicles.
it s obvious most of us thought the same, as it remained on shelves it s whole life cycle.
most of those little kits - vehicles, were afterthoughts, bikes, snakes, claws,
battle stations, were cool, but the rest was a waste of shelf space.
I can t wait to see the final product!
    good work!

So what colors are you going to repaint the vehicle? I think the grey of the parts you have with some urban camo like Firefly would look really cool. Or at least be usable to repaint one of your other customized Wolverines.
