Really awesome display! When I was a boy living in Lubbock, TX my next door neighbor had a collection that was second to none. I had a large collection myself but his put me and my brother's to shame. Neither of owned the Flagg though, it remained out of reach through my childhood. Great job!
Hello and it's beautiful, I too have a USS Flag, waiting to custom make my flag. It will sit on studs but for the trusses the frame for the Flag, I'm going to cover them with a painted card board and have flat panel monitors on the trusses with glued maps and scenery like. "Thanx for sharing"
@@darthg6505 hello and read off some comments here and I didn't realized I had ready commented about a year ago smh hmm... waiting to custom make my flag sure is taking eternity here lol
@@darthg6505 I'm all about it! But I'd secretly also like to see an actual 'all new' vehicle in the GIJOE 3.75in line put out by Haslab...like maybe a badass Naval Destroyer🤘Mind blown if that would happen. I'm a former Army Paratrooper, and a C-130 would do the trick too!
Yes a C-130 would be killer & it would be huge. Plenty of room for the Vamps & Mobats & lots of troops! A naval destroyer yes! My father was in the Navy in WW2 in Korea & Nagasaki. My brother is retired Navy, he served before & during Dessert Storm.
The prints were found on Retro Blasters page on you tube. I paused the video, did a screen grab, & printed out what he had. Then I used Meat paper & drew out the template the size I needed. Purchased the wood & paint. Then measured, cut , painted & then started building.
If It's not complete, A good price only missing 3 or 4 parts shouldn't cost you more than $1,500.00. I was only missing small parts & was able to construct the parts I needed to make it stable & functional. I did order a few parts from ebay. I will be getting new stickers for it after the new year. Thanks for watching!
The Flagg so often fails as a nice display piece. It usually ends up looking like a big, ugly, plastic coffee table. Your tropical backdrop has done wonders for it, it imbues a real sense of fun; good on you, mate!
i like how you added the hq....i have a three level flagg 0n my channel if you want to check it out, def got some inspiration to add to mine cheers!!!!
Nice dio I've seen how they added a lower deck also for their vehicles but I've never seen adding the gi joe head quarters that is a good idea also. For my uss flag I'll do the same but I am now seeing how I want to make flat screen panels as monitors to add to the frame of the carrier that sits on top of them studs like to cover some areas of the frame might enhance it Abit my uss flag only cost me 160.00 bucks here in philadelphia found it at a thrift store in Kensington philly and boy was I happy lol

@@williamgonzalez5257 I would love to see the work you do on your Flagg, It took a lot of research for me. Cheers!
That is a very organize display. I like that the Flagg can hold more vehicles and figures than a book shelf, yet is takes the about the same space.
Yes I agree. The Flagg works great 2 display in mant ways! Thanks 4 watching! Yo! Joe!!!
Fkn awesome set up
Thank You! I had a lot of fun with the project. Looking to add to it this spring. Thanks 4 watching. Yo! Joe!

The fish under the cellophane is a great effect.
Thank you! I also used the red for a tinted window effect on my Jabbas Throne room diorama, which I will be posting soon.
I almost want to take apart my flagg to put that in just like he has it
Nice job! Thanks for the tour ! I
Yes, Thank you, I do like your poured resin Idea. Maybe for a future project. Thanks 4 watching! Yo! Joe!!!

Thanks Kiwi. It was a lot of fun to set up, more coming for the Flagg this coming spring!
What kind of lights did you use inside the superstructure?
I used Patriot lighting LED Flexible tape light from Menards, Thanks for watching!
This is amazing!
I wonder if you could use a 3d printer to make more custom GI Joe and Cobra bases?
Yes, I've been looking at 3D printers. And thinking the same thing. Thanks for watching! Yo! Joe!!!
Nice job
Thanks Man!
Great job dude! I hope to find myself restoring one of these after Joe Fest 2022! Looking forward to more vids. Yo Joe!
Thanks! More videos coming. I hope you score at Joe Fest! Cobra! La!!!
How did you build the lower deck? Also where can I find the blue prints?
