Excluding the CAD data used by automobile makers for their manufacturing, the 3D models created for the game are the highest quality, highest precision models in the world. From the curves of the body, edges, spacing between body panels to the headlights and turn signals, every detail of the car has been precisely recreated.
From popular real life race circuits, oval tracks, dirt tracks set in nature and an urban expressway based on public roads, a large variety of tracks have been provided in game.
The True HDR workflow has enabled the recreation of light and colors that is true to nature, and it is possible to drive the tracks in a large variety of daylight and sky conditions.
In parallel to the development of its vehicle physics simulation, Gran Turismo has performed technical support for cars racing in the real life Nürburgring 24 hour race as well as the LMP1 class of the Le Mans 24 hour race.
Gran Turismo Sport is equipped with the latest vehicle physics simulation that includes knowledge gained from both the real and the virtual. A physics simulation that is ‘easy to drive because it is realistic’ has been achieved.

Real life racing is on a different level from digital racing.....in real life racing you could feel G-Force, headwind and backpains from continuous movement of the car... but yeah digital racing is also entertaning!

Lol that guy at the start just pushed out and go off track with a penalty for him. The penalty system is ridicolous
absolutely mate..it happened to me too, I'm just a novice in gr racings and i was little disappointed with that and there's no sportmanship neither..it really sucks racing like that, they must change something so the behaviour on tracks could change too..
actually in this type of event there are the marshalls,so it wasn't the penalty sistem

I've heard that the race directors looked at the footages and didn't detect any hits on the last 2 corners between both cars. Bishop later said that he just felt the few bumps after the long straight, but didn't feel any contact between him and the Mercedes in the final corner.
We have to see the other camera perspectives, but I'd say that the Merc kinda pushed himself of.
Looked like fair racing to me. The Merc went for the move and couldn't pull it off. Better luck next time
Latkovski was pissed at the Toyota for punting him a little off but later on completely wrecks Coque Lopez during the Nations Cup Finals.
He became the very thing he swore to destroy.
the exact point i have been making for months, if the reward from getting punted is to give a huge penalty to the victim whilst the perpetrator goes free it deteriorates the quality of the races. early on i recognized the penalty system at this world tour favored the front runners and in both incidents you mentioned if the exact situation happened in a dailies race i would have been gifted with probably 9 second penalties.......lol.

7:58 i saw spacing there enough for merc but the toyota had the racing line instead. Merc just had to do it and squeeze into it but lost control on the outer side of that corner since that corner had no grip. Merc fought well nonetheless, but if there is more 1 lap, Merc definitely win it. No doubt.

The Mercedes had been pushing his soft compound to hard you can watch it in the video and by the time they came down to the last turn he didn't have enough Tire to pull the move off.

alfitho there was no understeer at all if you look closely you will see the Supra pushed him off the track to where the Supra tires was close to the red and white tarmac on the left hand side. He should have lost that race with a penalty period
