If only they'd had more time to practice this, I'm sure they would have also inserted an whistle note throwdown at one of the later chorus passages, as both singers, as we know, have serious chops up there! @@danielbroskyI don't think it was a matter of more rehearsal time, rather I think it was a conscious decision on Dimash's part to hold back a little, to make sure Chanté's glorious voice and overall performance could properly shine, her being the main performer here. (And we Deers surely know that Dimash is exactly the kind of humble, considerate, respectful artist/person who would happily do that. It wouldn't come as a surprise if someone actually confirmed this feeling I had.)
@@silviagiorini1716 That's one idea. As Dimash had been studying and working on music in the States, he's had lots of time for getting to know American singers. It was a performance for Chanté, and as she'd already performed a couple of songs focusing on her whistle notes, the producers might have thought it would have been too much, or disrespectful to the original. It really is anyone's guess, as none of us was there during the planning and rehearsal period. Still, it would have fit, and worked, so I'm still holding out hope that D & C will take the stage together again some time in the future and give this addition a try.

Due to the show producers you missed out on a Dimash/Faouzia duet. Faouzia requested Dimash for her duet partner but the producers wanted her to sing with a Chinese singer so Dimash was paired with Chante instead. Dimash apologised to Faouzia later when they met in the green room as he didn't want her to think he was snubbing her but that the decision wasn't in his hands for this show.
That's such a bummer! A Dimash and Faouzia duet would have been absolutely epic, given both of their incredible vocal talents. @@TheWordSmith365 maybe I'm being a little conspiracy theorist but it's well known that like a lot of other TV talent shows, the result is preordained. In the show, Chante came 5th, Faouzia came 4th and the top spot went to a Chinese singer who some Chinese fans have said actually has a part share in the show. If Dimash and Faouzia had been duet partners there is no way in hell they would have been able to justify Faouzia not at least being in the top three. Btw, the brand new Dimash song that he premiered for the gala ending of this show is stunningly beautiful, no high notes, very little power but Dimash doing what he does best and connecting to his audience with emotions and nuance and just sheer beautiful singing. It's called Angel Love.
Hopefully one day Faouzia and Dimash will get to sing together in the near future. The introduction has been made. He watched her duet with Jason - more like scrutinized it - from the green room and applauded enthusiastically. 🤞

I watched a 2 hour continuous recording in the green room and he's either studying different vocal sounds, emulating them or just outright singing, his singing the melody to Vincent was absolutely spot on. He was very intrigued by the red headed singer from Brazil too, you never know who he might invite as a guest to the two concerts in Kazakhstan in September.

Then here comes Chante Moore and they just CHRUSHED IT!! Chante Moore also did a solo performance and the high notes that she hit were unbelievable. She was in the stratosphere and her voice became so smooth, so fine, and so soft, that I had to catch myself. In another video of this show, it was said that Faouzia wanted to sing with Dimash but the producers wanted her to sing with a Chinese singer. I hope you can react to the video of Chante's solo performance. The title of the song is "It's Alright", and at the end, she was channeling Minnie Ripperton. I'm in love with Dimash's art for several years. I was nervous when he stepped out of his box, and thought like many that Di and F would have been a natural duo. However, I'm very happy that Di had this experience. Chante seemed to wake him up to new possibilities, and knowing Dimash he will certainly dig in this direction. On the part of the show i'm not sure it was an act of malice to Di or Ch. You said yourself that duo is interestin., Besides, the chemistry on stage was very pleasant. Rarely have I seen anyone singing with Dimash able to match him for vocal power, skill and stage presence. but Chante did it and with ease. { Perhaps only the stupendous rising Soprano: Aida, in Ti Amo Cosi... Very differently of course. } Gobsmacked why have never heard of Chante before now, Especially with this 'Tina Turner-esque' power! Did a rapid deep dive into her history and the more I see the more impressed I become. She can sing just about anything, and with the same micro-perfectionism / attention to every nuance of every note, and breath between, and dynamic flow as Dimash! @@danielbroskyI don't think it was a matter of more rehearsal time, rather I think it was a conscious decision on Dimash's part to hold back a little, to make sure Chanté's glorious voice and overall performance could properly shine, her being the main performer here. (And we Deers surely know that Dimash is exactly the kind of humble, considerate, respectful artist/person who would happily do that. It wouldn't come as a surprise if someone actually confirmed this feeling I had.)
@@silviagiorini1716 That's one idea. As Dimash had been studying and working on music in the States, he's had lots of time for getting to know American singers. It was a performance for Chanté, and as she'd already performed a couple of songs focusing on her whistle notes, the producers might have thought it would have been too much, or disrespectful to the original. It really is anyone's guess, as none of us was there during the planning and rehearsal period. Still, it would have fit, and worked, so I'm still holding out hope that D & C will take the stage together again some time in the future and give this addition a try.

Due to the show producers you missed out on a Dimash/Faouzia duet.
Faouzia requested Dimash for her duet partner but the producers wanted her to sing with a Chinese singer so Dimash was paired with Chante instead.
Dimash apologised to Faouzia later when they met in the green room as he didn't want her to think he was snubbing her but that the decision wasn't in his hands for this show.
That's such a bummer! A Dimash and Faouzia duet would have been absolutely epic, given both of their incredible vocal talents. It's great to hear that Dimash took the time to apologize to Faouzia and clarify the situation. It shows how much he values collaboration and their artistic connection. @@TheWordSmith365 maybe I'm being a little conspiracy theorist but it's well known that like a lot of other TV talent shows, the result is preordained. In the show, Chante came 5th, Faouzia came 4th and the top spot went to a Chinese singer who some Chinese fans have said actually has a part share in the show.
If Dimash and Faouzia had been duet partners there is no way in hell they would have been able to justify Faouzia not at least being in the top three.
Btw, the brand new Dimash song that he premiered for the gala ending of this show is stunningly beautiful, no high notes, very little power but Dimash doing what he does best and connecting to his audience with emotions and nuance and just sheer beautiful singing. It's called Angel Love.
Hopefully one day Faouzia and Dimash will get to sing together in the near future. The introduction has been made. He watched her duet with Jason - more like scrutinized it - from the green room and applauded enthusiastically. 🤞

I watched a 2 hour continuous recording in the green room and he's either studying different vocal sounds, emulating them or just outright singing, his singing the melody to Vincent was absolutely spot on. He was very intrigued by the red headed singer from Brazil too, you never know who he might invite as a guest to the two concerts in Kazakhstan in September.

I thought that Dimash would be great with Jennifer Hudson because they both have powerful voices. They can turn their voices on a dime and make it mellow and soulful. Then here comes Chante Moore and they just CHRUSHED IT!! Chante Moore also did a solo performance and the high notes that she hit were unbelievable. She was in the stratosphere and her voice became so smooth, so fine, and so soft, that I had to catch myself. In another video of this show, it was said that Faouzia wanted to sing with Dimash but the producers wanted her to sing with a Chinese singer. I hope you can react to the video of Chante's solo performance. The title of the song is "It's Alright", and at the end, she was channeling Minnie Ripperton. I'm in love with Dimash's art for several years. I was nervous when he stepped out of his box, and thought like many that Di and F would have been a natural duo. However, I'm very happy that Di had this experience. Chante seemed to wake him up to new possibilities, and knowing Dimash he will certainly dig in this direction. On the part of the show i'm not sure it was an act of malice to Di or Ch. You said yourself that duo is interestin., Besides, the chemistry on stage was very pleasant. This is one of the best duets I have seen. Perfect fire. I didn't want it to stop. The energy they have together is contagious. I knew Dimash would be great, but Chante' was excellent as well. A perfect blend. And so much fun! I could tell how much fun they were having singing together. It was a masterpiece. I have listened to it for days, and go to bed hearing it in my mind. Then, I wake up hearing it in my mind again. It's an ear-worm I do not mind having.

It’s my understanding that Foauzia wanted to sing with Dimash; however, the show wanted her to sing with a Chinese singer instead
It seems there was some interest in collaboration between Faouzia and Dimash, which would have been an incredible pairing considering their powerful vocal styles! It's interesting how show productions often have their own agendas or decisions regarding performances. Agree. A fantastic duet by 2 Top Tier Professionals. Rarely have I seen anyone singing with Dimash able to match him for vocal power, skill and stage presence. but Chante did it and with ease. { Perhaps only the stupendous rising Soprano: Aida, in Ti Amo Cosi... Very differently of course. }
Gobsmacked why have never heard of Chante before now, Especially with this 'Tina Turner-esque' power! Did a rapid deep dive into her history and the more I see the more impressed I become. She can sing just about anything, and with the same micro-perfectionism / attention to every nuance of every note, and breath between, and dynamic flow as Dimash! It seems that whilst she is very well known in the US R&B and Jazz world, she never really transitioned over to Pop, where the spotlight (&$'s) live. In the early part of her career she was 'diverted' into some fairly mediocre material and missed out on some major hit songs with poor management. However the last few years- even; now at a young 57! -there has been a resurgence and a long delayed burgeoning recognition of just how incredibly good she really is! {* Have a look at her Headline performance in the 2022 R&B Award Ceremony } Hopefully this new step into the International arena will give her a whole new audience.
