After watching many reaction videos of Dimash duets or with multiple singers, I noticed the following, which I just wanted to mention: What is often overlooked, is, that a song begins a little quieter and more reserved in order to allow for an increase as it progresses, leading to a climax. Dimash is a master at this... he often uses his breathy voice and starts very quietly, only to explode later.💥😆 >When HE has to sing first in duets or with several singers (e.g. "Forever Queen" with the Super Vocal Boys), he often sings very quietly and tenderly... then in the next verse, when the duet partner starts with a normal loud voice, this creates a contrast and a good build-up to the song. Unfortunately, there are listeners who jump to the conclusion that this duet partner has a much stronger voice than Dimash, or that Dimash is not feeling well that day ……. or, like you wondered here, if he was a bit nervous or kind of insecure and needed that push from Ms. Moore later. They forget that it is in the service of the song, if the person who starts singing uses somewhat quieter tones. I often notice, with many modern hits, it seems that nowadays it can't get loud and powerful quickly enough... sometimes as early as the second line. If you turn on the radio, it's like that with almost every song, unless it's a quiet ballad. I read somewhere that the music industry or radio stations make sure that the songs they market, get powerful and louder as quickly as possible, otherwise some listeners will switch off or switch to another station. It's not like that with most of Dimash's songs and I really appreciate that he takes his time and starts quietly to build up the song. In doing so, he invites ME to come along with him, to let him lead me into another world in terms of my feelings and thoughts when experiencing his song. Dimash is not called a great storyteller for nothing. His quieter tones in particular are so full of subtleties and sophistication when you listen more closely and are soft as butter... I recognize the true talent of this excellent singer in them.< However, in this performance, things are a little different as Ms. Moore is the contestant and Dimash comes as a guest to support her for the duet. His task is also to give her space enough to show her skills to the audience. Of course, the main focus has to be on the contestant, so Dimash took on the steady, solid part of the song, i.e. repeating the chorus (but also with a powerful voice), except for a few moments in the middle, when he pleased us with his impressive belting and beautiful melismas, which led to the strong vocals of the lady. All in all, she had enough room to play with her voice and use different colors, tones and dynamics... and OMG - she was amazing. 🤩😍 I love this duet - it's my favorite Dimash duet - at least so far 😄😉. The energy, the chemistry between them, the differences in their voices blending perfectly together... a pleasant harmony. And the fun they were obviously having was absolutely infectious. And I liked the differences of their appearances .... a young tall man and a smaller, petite looking older woman ... both very beautiful and sexy. 🔥🌪 Again, thank you for your nice reaction. Dimash shows respect to his duet partners. In that case I don't think he was holding back because Chanté also has a very strong voice. The reason why he seems to be more in the background is because he is singing the melody and she is singing the higher harmonies. Chante’ was a competitor in the contest “I am Singer,” Dimash always show respect to those he sings with, did you see him sing with Placido Domingo, or Laura Fabian, and Aida G. He doesn’t try and outshine. What I saw with Dimash and Chante’s singing, was chemistry. They were having a good time and playing off of each other. Raw, sexy, soul! Chante’ is in her late 50’s, old enough to be Dimash’s mother, but the chemistry wasn’t motherly, it was FIRE!!! I hope Dimash collaborates more with Chante’ and other beautiful soulful ladies!😊

I feel like Chanté taught Dimash a little RnB which is a genre he doesn’t get an opportunity to sing much and Chanté gave some soul to Dimash. Dimash doesn’t sing songs in one genre only he mixes them up and does the whole shebang. You should hear the impromptu RnB runs he throws in during concerts, I esp love the ones in the NY concert❤

Dimash is always careful not to overpower his singing partners...because he could, of course. I was holding my breath in the beginning as she moved in on him, but he can clearly handle a grown up woman. Their chemistry was palpable. His Dears always keep a respectful distance. He is such a cool cat who is growing into a very sexy man and flaunting it, always in good taste. This performance will revive her erstwhile popularity and raise their exposure, especially in the US market.

This was to let her shine, since she was the competitor, and he listened to her voice the whole time and supported her. It also would have been too much if he had tried to go all out. I find it kinda disrespectful that Dimash fans keep saying he was holding back, not all songs need all the bells and whistles. I think she helped him get into the song more, it's not his normal genre and he sung the first verse in his usual style. Once Chante came in they seem to feed off each other and it loosened him up and became a banger

Chantè is great and it's also her genre. Fans only know that Dimash is always more reserved when he's on stage with someone else. I think it's his upbringing and his personality. But when she caught fire, he did his thing. This is not disrespectful to Chanté.

Dimash is not in the competition but Chante Moore was. He was there to support her in the final rounds of the I am Singer Competition in China. The focus was solely on her.
Dimash did amazingly well so as notator overshadow Chante. Perfect balance and harmony and chemistry between the two. Bravo Dimash and Chante. I love this duet so much. ❤❤❤
