Yeah that was the machine that gave me “battery low”. I had only been filming for like 2 hours. That’s insane!
I use mine thru usb-c / usb-c cable for a month now and never had any issues
If powerbank is an option then octatrack steps back into the game!

I gotta sit down and actually learn how to use my 404 one of these days. Like I understand what you are doing and the track building is always educational but I couldn’t remember the buttons I would need to press at this point, hah

I would love to do this. My take on music is its a product of your environment. Music is harder to make for myself when im inside just having walls around. I made stuff i was more proud of when i was sitting on my balcony making stuff on my phone. Id love to go to back to where i grew up and make things with a few rolled up treats.

Great video.. A new way to make music without virtual computer dependency ! SOLID STUFF.. I've got a op1field . Thinking of buying a zoom R20 battery powered mini recorder along with the 404..
I use the OP1 Field with the Arturia Keystep together. I got hold of a cheap Bluetooth MIDI 5 pin interface and I can state that the latency is minimal, if at all noticeable.
I think Bluetooth connectivity has come a long way as more people are asking for better wireless response from there Bluetooth equipment. For you to state that Bluetooth has big latency problems to-day informs me that you don’t use Bluetooth a lot in your day to day setup. Do a hole day only using the latest gear with Bluetooth, then make an informed decision.
