I use the OP1 Field with the Arturia Keystep together. I got hold of a cheap Bluetooth MIDI 5 pin interface and I can state that the latency is minimal, if at all noticeable. I think Bluetooth connectivity has come a long way as more people are asking for better wireless response from there Bluetooth equipment. For you to state that Bluetooth has big latency problems to-day informs me that you don’t use Bluetooth a lot in your day to day setup. Do a hole day only using the latest gear with Bluetooth, then make an informed decision.
Good ear I would guess. You could for example never learn any music theory and instead just listen to a lot of music and make a lot of music to train your ear and figure out what you like and what you don't like. I'm kinda going off here but writing music is all about knowing what you want and until you have a palette large enough to paint what you want to see you wont end up with "sick chords" so to speak.
That’s why I got a Polyend Tracker, get a battery and you have your sampler and discount Octatrack on the go, big screen, radio, works great! Also that CP sounds ridiculous for it’s price
I use a bluetti ac60 to power my setup on the go. Portable batteries are clutch! Let's me plug in 5 pieces of gear and a QSC 12.2 speaker for 5 hours 🎉
