Great video Jerrold! This isnt about trucks it is about when you get home give your wife a big hug and ask her to and yourself start getting screened for cancer. I just lost my wife of almost 40 years to bladder cancer from the time she was diagnosed to when she passed was eight and a half weeks. I took care of her for two months 24 hrs. a day until she entered St. Josephs hospice and passed 3 days later with family by her side. Everyone reading this take head get tested early detection will save your life. My wife wasnt so lucky the cancer moved so fast by the time treatment was set up it was to late she went to stage 4 in 6 weeks. In her memory go get screened and your loved one!
Sorry for you loss, I’m always telling my father who’s mid seventies to get stuff checked out even if it’s super minor. Might as well go because it’s “free” here in Canada.
I’m deeply sorry for the trauma you have gone through losing your wife so quickly.
It’s also very kind of you to share and spread awareness!
Jerrold actually helped save my life 5 yrs ago. I had toxic breast implants that almost silently killed me, they also cause cancer!
We try and take our health seriously after what we’ve been through. Saving my life cost us all a good penny sadly.

Actually that was the trip Jerrold started this channel and wanted to make memories to share with his children. His dad died of lung cancer when he was young so we cherishes his memories deeply.

It's a sick feeling when the road sinks beneath you. I'll never forget hauling just 80,000 gross heading to a fertilizer plant in Minnesota during spring. The bottom was out of the secondary road, and my Pete with a 475 CAT didn't like getting out of 2nd gear. That was a long 8 miles. The road was embargoed the next day!
Atleast you made er in. Would be a long tug. Hate the unpredictable conditions of spring. But can also add fun and a few stories

Some nasty hills on that road,but kool drive. I Tried dragging a full load of rig mats up that same hill in the mud,didn't work out lol.pissed off the locals and went the other way through horburg.great vids keep them coming!

Not really, all depends on the condition of your chains. I’d do 100 kph to run a hill. But whit a steer keep it under 80 kph
With all this snow that seems to stick around in Canada, it’s a wonder you haven’t done an edit with Snowblind by Black Sabbath! “Dontcha think I know what I’m doin? Don’t tell me that it’s doin me wrong!” Great vid as always. It probably isn’t as fun when you’re the one doing the driving, but as an off-road lover and lover of mudding (in a 4x4 of course) this stuff is always fun to see.

@TimelapseTruckerRTOT the company I worked for, if got stuck while chained, would pull you out no matter where you were at, but would fire you on the spot if you were not chained up. You also had to find your own way home. When in dought chain up.
@@scruffy6151that sucks. We have some good pulls in the bush in Ontario but they’ll sand the icy roads or use a skidder to push before we ever waste any time putting on chains.

Had one GoPro clamp break. And driving to fast pulled the magnet 360 off the back rack 2 times with 2 of my 360 camera. Pretty much ruined my first 360 pulling the threads right out and scratching the lens. My newest one also has a scratch in the lens
Tonight on backroad oilfield trucking hauling a bunch of oilfield equipment to a out post in the Canadian trailer yard for repairs and tomorrow's work load on the office clipboard 📋 looks like a bunch of orders to move mr lahey camp shacks on trailers ready to go to oilfield drilling company for office workers for there meetings on the next drill sites
