      Germanium's atomic number is 32, but the configuration is 2,8,18,4 (due to electrons in 3d subshell) . Thus it has similar properties as carbon.

    However it's true that I scored 95 in physics (also in chemistry. Etc) board exam In 2018 (cbsc). Since I passed out from Navodaya vidyalaya (government boarding school), any electronic instrument was not allowed there, so I'm unable to watch u before my board exam. But honestly "what physics is actually" I understand when I seen your vedioes.

    Sir I have a doubt in energy band that is a diagram given in NCERT just below the energy band theory ...where each energy level is filled by a 2 electrons....but u and the book also have discussed that there are 4n energy states each occupied by 1 electron.....sir please clear my doubt as soon as possible....🙏 I will be very grateful to you
