It wasn't his specialty, but he wasn't a *bad* shooter. He held the record for most threes in a game (7) back when threes weren't so much of a focus of the game.

3 point line was just created when he was in college so naturally he never focused on long range shooting growing up. The idea is was to take the highest percentage shot available back then. Plus with his athleticism early in his career he didn't need long range shooting because nobody could defend his mid range and dunks. Later in his career he was shooting 3s at a pretty good rate

@GiovanniSS1987 precisely why Jordan is an another level. He got 2 more rings in way less seasons played without running around forming superteams. Plus, the comparison is what they did on the court, not off. While on the floor, Jordan was the best to ever do it. Was Karl Malone better than MJ because he played more games? How about Vince Carter? How about Jamal Crawford or Kevin Willis? Or Robert Parish? Jordan would wipe the floor with Lebron and average 50 ppg in todays league where you can't hand check or hard foul. Don't forget Jordan was also top 5 best defenders of all time while LBJ sits back and relaxes on D so he can Stat pad on offense. Show me one Poll that has Lebron as the majority vote for GOAT. Cmon man

I love watching clips like this and seeing when teams dressed in matching uniforms, instead of these days where guys wear tshirts underneath with 74 arm bands and women's tights. Also like that the shoes are either white or black, again adding to the "TEAM look." Nowadays we'll have guys wearing neon yellow, pink, rainbow, etc just so they can stand out. The more ridiculous they look the better seems to be the mantra

Every single one of those pull up and midrange jumpers is a shot that Lebron can't shoot. For his career Lebron only shoots 37% outside of 3 feet. That's why I cringe when people compare the two. There isn't any comparison between the massive difference in their skill level in scoring.
