It's one of my favorite fixed blades in camp & on the water!

I bought your design and am not dissapointed. Very nice in hand, sharp as they come, solid design and sheath. I am fascinated by LC200n since watching vids where its edge retention beat out s30v among others. Given it's top tier corrosion resistance it seems like the ultimate sea/riverside knife and ideal for food prep. Cheers.

Lance, really enjoy your videos, and congrats on having your knife design adopted by Spyderco. This looks to be an excellent water knife or dive knife, and that should be reason enough to get it. However, I wonder if you can say a word or two about how suited this knife would be for bushcraft - it certainly would carry well in the woods and its extreme corrosion resistance would mean one less thing to worry about as far as functionality of gear.

Hey wilindrocca it’s funny you mention bushcraft. One of primary thoughts when designing this knife was to make something that I could bring on multi-day kayak fishing/camping trips. I haven’t actually made a trip yet with the waterway 🙄 but I think the knife will function well for those types of duties as that was the intent of the design.

Big Brown Bear White rod (I assume we’re talking Spyderco) is pretty slippery on the scales for fish work. It would work fine for tuna but I keep my fillet knives (and the waterway) in the 600-1000 range.

I do love my "Spydies" and have more than a few, and I did look at this...with a bit of droolage...BUT, being a rescue diver, and a kayak fisherman, I am always a little leery of pointed knifes around me and by gear...especialy BC's, air lines etc...just my 2 Cents...I'll stick with my Salt II sheepsfoot for now...maybe it they just rounded it a teenie bit?
