i have a 2000 650 ls savage love it its awsome to ride.light easy to work on.and all i have done as of work on it .. oil changes and brakes . so 20,000 miles later ,still going . nice kit love to have one wish i could at the moment $$$..
I am looking to build a Cafe, but my platform is a current model Harley Iron 883. Trying to find a 2003 Sportster in my area but no luck surprisingly. Love RYCA kits friend of mine runs the cs-1 and it's such a beautiful bike.
Such a huge fan of those ryca parts, when i get money, i will order most parts and build it aswell. Thats exactly the cafe racer im looking for, dream bike. Quite expensive parts tho:(
Very nice and clean conversion. The OEM belt drive, however, looks rather bulky and clutters the rear of the bike. You may consider a chain conversion; I experimented with 17/49 but the speedo underread, so I corrected to 17/50, spot on! I have read of 18/52 conversions, but this too will make the speedo underread; furthermore, sprockets are both even toothed and this may cause uneven wear of the final drive assembly. My setup with a 17 tooth front sprocket corrects the problem, 17 being a prime number.
Hi Great vidio,---although I'm not into the bobber look, mainly my age and the flexibility needed for head checks but it cemented my decision on a s40. What I really liked was the exhaust sound,--what muffler system was on the one in the demo bike? Thanks Al
Putting a nighthawk 450 tank on my savage. Looks surprisingly well. The mikuni vm is been a great upgrade for me. I like the kit but a tad spendy for the hell I will put bike through and the bars are too low for me. I like sitting standard. 20 years ago I would have had a boner for this but now I have the know how and money to make myself.
I'm 5ft/8in 170lb and my cafe racer is a 1980 Suzuki gs1100 fully built motor it's funny to see guys on crotch rockets reactions when I hit the gas... I now have a 1977 triumph 750 I'm transforming I love cafe racers.
the forks are not rite for a cafe racer.this bike has a bad place for a key, foot pegs art forward too much.the frame is not straight, the back rim is too small the front too big.the tank is the only thing good and you want to put a small tank on it.respoke the rims ah no, lets don't and say we didnt.this ryka is a scam bullshit kit .the way the bike is set up as a chopper not a straight bike.70 percent never get done its too difficult and not worth it . i like my s40 just like it is .i know about motocycles for i am warriorcycles king of motorized bikes the paul sr of motobikes. i will blow your shit away son!you guyz dont have a clue serious!!!!!
If your bike knowledge is anything like your literacy, then I doubt you know shit about bikes. Your comments actually show your lack of knowledge and education. There are many bike specialist that think these are a good kit and make a great cafe racer. By all means, start your kit company and show everyone what you got. In the meantime go troll elsewhere.
kyle....YOU'RE the clueless one, Bozo, obviously and tragically so! ne'er-do-wells trolls like you are a dime a dozen, got nothing better to do?? read a book! learn about bikes! and stay out of the youtube comment section until you grow up. you're not qualified.
As soon as I can I all get this for the city and no more than 45mph this is perfect for the city
Awesome bike and service!!!
A Vanagon in the background when he leaves!!!

I AGREE 100%! KIT FOR THE TU250x PLEASE! with the 2 seater option!
Great bike for a 5'4" guy. I did a LS650 and it's a very small bike.
s maller front wheel would go a long ways towards helping the handling with the new stance, as well as the looks.

Awesome thing!
Wow !!! What a beautiful cafe motorcycle. Sir how much it cost to buy exactly one like that ? Thank you 🙏
I like the speedo and Tachometer and maybe the gas tank
Sweet!
Since when did a bolt-on kit become 'custom?' No one ever called a kit car "custom" it's just a kit car... how is this any different?
I like it
One question, is it fast? With a big bore kit,cam and carb jet what kinda hp are we talkin? I love the cs-1, but I need the speed
Nathan Willison Like 30-40
I have a question: How much weight can you take out of a Savage? How lightweight can you make it?

Get out of the way
its funny to see guys weighing 200 pounds riding these things . a cafe racer is a norton or triumph . not a two wheeled lawn mower
you've really missed the whole point--
