Fun fact - most of us don't know what we're doing on here. Some folks are just a few miles down the journey of learning. 🙃 We're here for you and the continuing healing journey. Keep being authentically you!
I came across your video and you have one more subscriber ❤. I want to tell you that you do know what you’re doing. You’re loving yourself and that’s what’s most important. I like you’re vibe and I’m sending you positive energy your way. May God lead your way and open up the roads of your new life 🙏🏼♥️🙏🏼♥️
Forgive yourself. You're not the first and most certainly won't be the last to get a questionable deal on a vehicle. The most important part is that YOU DID IT and you made it look beautiful!
Amen, I just stopped by this channel because I had so many questions on buying a rv. But your spiritual journey is so awesome and beautiful thanks for sharing❤❤❤
No, you are not just talking to a camera my dear. I'm here watching along with others. Luv the info and vibes you're putting out! I've been researching RVs for years...in the process of narrowing down the specific RV that I'd like to purchase. Question....do you mainly camp at campgrounds or boondock?
If you are looking for for an RV, before you finalize your decision, check out these YT channels, Liz Amazing, Rigor RV Repair and Blue Ox On the Run. They have either inspected or interviewed owners of a lot of RVs and brands. It is really a jungle out there looking for RVs so having a wealth of information to make a decision is critical. Don't focus overly on the aesthetics and amenities, you want something that will last without major issues. We also just posted a general "Things to Consider" when looking video, on our channel. Please feel free to reach out with questions. Good luck.
Lovely vlog Renee. Your instincts were dead on. I'm on the fence purchasing an RV after seeing horror store one after another one. Crappy RVs are being produced leaving people in a horrific situations & the dealers/sellers are not doing one single thing to ensure great customer service & responsiveness in resolving major issues. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for your comment. While I definitely made some mistakes, I wouldn’t trade this RV experience for anything. It comes with its challenges, but it has been the most rewarding experience of my life. Make sure to buy a moisture meter and use it on the walls and ceiling of any RV you’re considering purchasing, whether it’s old or new.
Renée….you are perfectly flawed and I appreciate you and this channel. I am grateful that you decided to share your journey. Thank you for that. And trust me….most of us prefer a content creator that ISNT perfect……that makes mistakes and can smile and keep it moving. I’m here for it. Just be you….we got you!!
Your video came across my feed, and it was great watching I’m on the research on getting a RV, I lost my Mom last year and retired to take care of her but one thing, she had so much faith that I was going to be ok and I am, after taken care of my parents Im now Living my best life and yes when you step out of your comfort zone you second guess yourself but remember you already made the first step, and every step after that is to a better YOU! Keep doing and living.❤
Thank you for sharing that with me and I'm sorry for your lost, my heart goes out to you. I gave up everything to take care of my mother as well. So I understand your journey and I wish you all the best . Thank you sooo much for those beautiul kind words.
None of us know what we are doing 🤣🤣🤣🤣 that’s the beauty of this, if you are not learning you are not living. Spiritual journey’s are the most rewarding when the ego can take the backseat and you live authentically. Breathe 🧘 learn to breathe. You got this, BLESSINGS❤️✨
Hi friend, greetings from London, UK. I hear you about not following your instinct. My gran always said "follow your mind". But you know, it is a lesson learnt and that's all we can do. New follower....loving your channel
Always listen to that inner voice; it often knows best, even if I didn't heed it myself. It's fortunate that you hired an RV inspector, but he overlooked that wet spot, which suggests the inspection wasn’t thorough. The purpose of hiring an inspector is to save you thousands of dollars. Newcomer nomads often feel lost, but you learn as you experience things. I'm excited for the next video!
Hi Renee🙋🏽♀️ My dream is to live nomadically as well. The first step for me is getting a fully remote job. I’ve been applying. Then I’ll need to get my home ready for sale. I cannot take living in a home anymore. It’s sending me deeper into depression. I need something new. I’m loving your channel. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Don't give up on yourself God got your back your path within you journey just begun be strong enough to fight your Demons they don't went to see you win have faith action speak lounder then words 😊❤congratulations on your independence 😊 ❤sincerely yours James mellieon keep fighting that fight you can do anything you put your mind to find a good tree and hug it and when you feel down hug it as much as you can and go visit the tree a much as possible and make sure you talk to you ant sisters they will guide you in the right direction ❤be blessed and stay safe and be careful and make sure you eat healthy green vegetables everyday 😊
The moral of this story is let the inspector inspect EVERYTHING. I am looking to buy a travel trailer, not comfortable with used due to all the horror stories i hear about water damage. I have concluded after watching and reading a lot of content that even the best RVs cavities breakdown over traveling miles, and roof expections along with seems are highly recommended after every trip. But who does that? In my decision to buy, I am factoring the equation of maintenance. Inspecting the roof and seems, knowing I am terrified of heights 😮. With that being said. Lesson learned thanks for sharing.
You are right Stacey, I should have paid for the full inspection. I now have a moisture meter and I highly suggest you get one too. Use it on the walls and floors of any RV you are considering buying and if all is good then you can spend your money on an inspector to fully check it.
Please don't think that a new RV is better than a used one. New RVs can, and do, have as many, or more, issues than used. New RVs need an INDEPENDENT inspection just as much as used. We were at the 2025 Florida RV Supershow over the weekend and the quality of some of those new units was appalling. With roofs, particularly rigs built with plywood walls, you want to seal all of your roof seams with something similar to Eternabond roof sealing tape. We bought a used 2019 travel trailer in 2022 and after noticing a small leak during a road trip, we sealed all of the roof seams with Eternabond tape when we returned. One less thing to worry about. Other than that small roof leak, our used RV has had zero major issues (it also comes down to which manufacturer built the rig).
New subscriber, I ran across your channel in a blessed way. Appears im where you've been. I am selling my home too, not really sure of what's next. You are very assuring and positive. Im unsure, but like you said...I'm going on anyway! Glad i came across your channel.
I really like the interior of your RV. Can you tell us what your RV make and model is that you have right now? If you said it I apologize I missed it but can you please comment back what it is. Thank you.
You'll do what you do till you figure it out. That's the adventure of it all. I was going to name my "whatever I eventually get" Shug's Advantures, Shug is what everyone else called my g'grandmother, we the immediate called her Mama. She lived to 100 and transitioned when I was a teen, I'm 61 now. My other name is Lucky Lucille after my g'aunt who just transitioned last year at 103, she was like my grandma as she outlived both my parents and had no children, she was a spry old gal and still driving and going to the casino until covid hit. It'll be a coin toss which I pick. Unless I con figure out a witty amalgamation of both.
It's difficult to believe this is only your 3rd video (although I know it is because I have been watching you from day one). Your heartfelt reflections and vision toward the future, in addition to your quality videography and editing, make it appear as though you have had a YT channel for years. I think the inspector that you hired appears to be an incompetent crook ("I will only do a complete inspection if you pay me more money"). Totally unacceptable. Based on your type of RV, it should be just one price. This sounds like a CYA moment. He would probably say after you found the damage, "Well, you did not pay for the "Full" inspection." Nonsense. You made your decision based on the professional reputation, and experience, of that inspector. I'm sorry but he should have found that damage by just using a moisture meter. I hope he has a place where you can leave a review of your experience. P.S. Interesting enough, we just posted our 2nd video, on the RV buying process, and at the end, stress the importance of getting an independent inspection. You did this but unfortunately found someone that was incompetent.
@@GypsySoulReborn Thanks for checking it out. A good inspector is a blessing. I know a few who do excellent work but at the time we purchased, I did not know any. I am really hands on so I printed out a complete checklist of things to check and spent almost the entire day at the dealership going over everything. Fortunately, I found no major issues (our rig, although used, was barely used previously and looked brand new) and we completed the purchase.
Fun fact - most of us don't know what we're doing on here. Some folks are just a few miles down the journey of learning. 🙃 We're here for you and the continuing healing journey. Keep being authentically you!

Hello you sweet soul and thank you. I like Shug's Adventures, I know you'll come up with the perfect name.
How did the inspector miss that? 😢 water damage
some Inspectors just want the Cash , not interested in doing a quality job
She didn’t pay for a complete inspection. She stated she didn’t include payment for the cosmetic inspection.
I think he knew but because I didn't pay the extra cost he kept it quiet.
❤ I love your RV
Thanks Babygirl. I'll be heading your way in a couple of months. Can't wait to get my hug. Love you!

Great job!
Thanks for the visit!
