    Thank you so much for this illustration. Please my question is won't the back be longer than the front when joining?

    Thanks so much.
    What about front. How do we accommodate protruding belly?
    For someone with tommy.

    This is different from all the but allocation videos I've seen thank you. But I'd like to ask won't the 0.5 you took from the waist affect the measurement?

    Goodday ma,I just came across your channel and your work...thank you for the knowledge..
    Pls ma,for this technique ,after drafting it on a paper and you want to transfer it to the fabric,do we transfer directly the way it was done on the paper?
    And after transferring on the fabric,are we placing anything like gumstain,canvas,or thick chestpad to give it a round shape?

    Nice tutorial.... My concern is, that additional 1 inch at the back where you slashed, won't it affect the length at the CB??

    • @feyikemitomilade6025
      @feyikemitomilade6025 ปีที่แล้ว

      No it won’t, the butt will sit in it. I do this all the time so as to avoid d butt side squeezing in and not sitting well

  • @ifeyinwaonwuatu2719
    @ifeyinwaonwuatu2719 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks for d video, I noticed that the pattern are straight as in u didn’t shape d knee part of d skirt. Again d 0.5 inch taken from d waist line will it be replaced. Or it won’t affect d measurements.

    • @lynhanon
      @lynhanon  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 0.5 won't affect the measurements, about the knee ignore that the skirt was done for illustration, like I said in the video this can be done for any type of garment of your choice, not necessarily skirt also a dress.

    Thank you Ma I really appreciate this secret you have shown us. Pls if am doing free hand how do I have this hip slash of 1inch effect. Thank you and God bless you.

    • @lynhanon
      @lynhanon  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi dear the slashing is not achievable with freehand, how ever if you do only free hand you can still do your connections one inch at helm half inch at waist and connect to give it also a rounded look without the slash👍

  • @uduakobongessiet7340

    Thank you ma,why are you lifting the center front, would it not make the front bulging

    • @lynhanon
      @lynhanon  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a centre back not front. This technique is usually done at the centre back

  • @ednabani8603
    @ednabani8603 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great idea but Please is this technique for people with bumbum or flat bum? Because the way I see it, if the bum is flat it will create a balloon at the back.

    Thank you for this ma. When cutting it on the main fabric, do we also cut it out at the hip line like you did on the paper, and if yes, what should be put underneath to lift it. I hope you understand my question ma

    • @lynhanon
      @lynhanon  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No dear this is strictly pattern drafting technique, the lift cannot be achieved directly on fabric

    Ma thanks so much for the tutorial ps my question is
    Can be butt lift go for anybody cos I tot its only for those dat hv a big butt so the butt lift helps create more room for the butt to sit and also prevent the case of shorter back ( the ass pulling the clothe up).
    Secondly, the half inche that was removed from the waist n connectd tother neck n hip, did u replace it at the side back of the waist while drafting?
    Sorry for my long story

      There is no rule to it, it depends on the size of the person butt. I add 2” to mine, 1.5 inches to pple with hips 39-42 and less just like dat
