    One of the best videos on the internet for a beginner like me. I will watch it over and over again 100 times! Congratulations! Thank you!

    Have been following your videos and I must have been a good boy as Santa brought me a beginner's wing foil setup! Cant wait to get out on the water and put your lessons to use. Not so much the face plants!

    Thank You. Your information on the the standing up skill is exactly what I'm needing in this troubled progression and some of the tips I never tried. I would guess that %75 of my fatigue is spent just in the stand up effort. I come from 12 years of kite foiling and there's nothing similar to this in my history

    Very useful Sam! Thanks for all your posts, watched them all! I'm learning wingfoiling at this moment. Since two times or so I'm able to fly very long distances in a very controlled way, making some curves too BUT only with the good foot in front haha, going back is so far still boring without flying on the foil. But improvement is suddenly fast so who knows how long that will take. I'm almost going to need to know what to do next so I'm looking out for your new video! Thanks a lot!

    Like the concise, straight to the point approach in the videos & very clear pragmatic advice e.g. gear advice for beginners! Thanks for the video(s)

    Great stuff
    A couple extras from a newbie: stand up straight! Keep your body in line with the mast and your center of mass above the front wing
    Now - I need so much help on training my brain to accept toe side
    Sam - an in depth session on how to get your brain to accept toe side would be great
    Thanks and love your vids!!

    Can you do a video on points of sail? I have a lot of sailing experience and reaching with the wing makes sense but I'm still pretty confused on positioning for up and down wind winging. Great video btw!

    Great video, I am new to foiling and am local to Hayling. Any advice for ideal conditions at West Beach for example when are best times to go out based on low and high tide, are there any hidden hazards to be aware of?

    Hi mate, can you please cover the set ups available for dock starting/ pump foil. Using Phantasm range for kite and wing.... but what works well for dock starting in this range? Keen to progress this now but seems limited?

    hi Sam - im confused about the FSUP vs FWING foil and what the marketing blurb says - . FSUP is only to be used with a SUP ? and not suitable for a total wingfoil beginner 80kg . ? and V3 vs V4 ?

    Would you say you need more wind to Wing Foil than Wind Foil ? Thanks

    • @SamLight
      @SamLight  ปีที่แล้ว

      yes but only marginally more to wing foil

      Same bro 😂 been struggling trying to get on foil more reliably and above all staying on for a lot of (long) sessions falling in a hundred times every time...still the feeling when it works out for a short time is so great I will keep pushing 🤙
