    I bought both books of Modern Hebrew Verbs: [1] textbook and [2] workbook... Thanks...! I use the virtual Hebrew keyboard in Google Translate (when you choose as language Hebrew). I also use the apps 'Hebrew Verbs' and 'IRIS Verbs'...

      You can use Hebrew/English keyboard stickers or a silicone keyboard cover. It's really much easier. On a smart device you can switch to a keyboard app like Swype or swiftkey, and do it easily!

    Thank you very much Rut. Your teaching is very good and after each videos, I could remember everything, and now I'm more confident in me, really. Merci beaucoup et après avoir arrêté d'étudier cette langue, j'ai beaucoup de plaisir à reprendre l'apprentissage de l'Hébreu sur ce channel. I would like to know if you offer a training in French? If not, it isn't a problem. Thank you again. Patrick

    Hello, would going through the workbooks and courses you provide at Patreon provide a good foundation for learning Biblical Hebrew verbs as well as modern?

    • @HebrewVerbs
      @HebrewVerbs  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello David, thank you for writing. It clearly depends on your goal. if you want to use Hebrew and speak to people and additionall read biblial texts, then I would focus on Modern Hebrew. However, if your focus is only biblical texts and speaking the language is not of your interest, for sure you can completely forget Modern Hebrew. This choice is yours. My very personal opinion is that it is easier to learn Modern Hebrew and switch to biblical Hebrew where necessary. I have seen many students that have studied Biblical Hebrew and could not let go of the old archaic grammar when it came to Modern Hebrew. Currently we have 4 free lessons online. Just check it out :-)

      @@HebrewVerbs I tried to study Biblical Hebrew first and the material I found was so grammar-oriented and tedious that I couldn't get beyond the basics. Then I switched to Modern Hebrew and here you have more material online that's more engaging and it's definitely a beautiful language to hear spoken. I'm far from fluent but I'm definitely improving. And I can understand a little of the Tanach when I read, which is not bad considering I've only been studying seriously for a year.
      I really like the tips you offer in this video. I'm following the Duolingo course which is fine to get you started, but if you don't take it slowly and do a lot of practice with other material, it's definitely confusing! Your videos are excellent to find a bit of clarity in the mess in my mind hahaha. Thank you so much!

    You learn us with an example rom right to centre, i like to see the example (lesson) from Nifal to hitpael. left to the centre. Do you have this lesson?

    • @HebrewVerbs

      Hello Rachél, thank you for writing. Which example do you mean? If you go to the playlists, there you will also find conjugated roots where you have one root in several binyanim. Is this what you are looking for?

      @@HebrewVerbs I'm not sure. I like it to now how the words are changing from pa' al to Hitpael. Is it the same left? from nifal to hitpuel?? changing?

      Hello Ledan, I take it as a compliment, that you are convinced of my teaching and wish to get the the book asap. However, is PDF is not going to be sold, because I have no intention to find it later circulating for free on the internet. And the kindle is in the making still. I can only recommend you take all my videos and take notes of what I say as if it was in class. Basically, all is here on TH-cam. Start with the playlists where I have organized all contents. Good luck with your test.

    I don't get why in almost every channel here on youtube that intends to teach hebrew, even when the subject is not so basic anymore, everything is written and explained in English! Even the binyanim goups names! And then you have to insist: "Hebrew is possible!"...
