- I meet up with a local, who has known the Buccaneer Archipelago for years. We head to a place called Point Torment and I get a little history lesson on how it got its name.
The Swamp donkey got the job done, normally you have a bit of trouble in the soft sand area before you hit the beach.
On the way home we stop by Blue Holes. I had always hear about this spot when I lived up this way but had never been. Definitely a spot to head back to next time.

Point torment was naned by Ltn John Stokes not Dampier.
And Disater Bay was named phillip Parker King.
Local legends not always history buffs.😅
