- This is from my early days. YES this was staged but still can give you an idea about what happens when an elevator fails.. THE ONLY REASON this is up is because I have had countless requests from some of my younger autistic fans that wanted to see this. If it causes any problems it will be privatized again. The parking deck in downdown Hamilton, Ontario across from Copps Coliseum also has 7 floors, numbered 1-7. I can name the floor colours in order from bottom to top. (I've been going downtown pretty much all my life.) They are: green (1st floor), yellow (2nd floor), orange, (3rd floor), red (4th floor), purple (5th floor), blue (6th floor) and light blue (7th floor.)

@JaxRun While you can hear clicks, if you look at the run and stop key switch when he first sends it down, you can see that it is in the same exact position as when he showed it later in the video,

I was riding it with a technician than while going up, the doors were open slightly while going up then when it leveled, the door won’t open for couple of minutes and they have to put an out of order on the doors so that’s my very first experienced getting stuck in the elevator but in my middle school

Dieselducy got off the elevator and he said this: the elevator needs maintenance
To all the people saying it's fake, look at the stop switch when he first gets in the elevator, then again when he turns it back after it gets stuck. The switch is between stop and run, both before and after the elevator was stuck. If he were flipping around with the switch it would be pointed at stop when he looked back at the panel.
I got stuck for a couple of minutes in a parking garage elevator in Harrisburg PA 3 years ago and since then I never went to that parking garage. The elevator did stop 2 stories before my floor but I walked up the garage to get to my car rather then up the elevator. Since then I stayed out of that garage. I park elsewhere now days.

When you get stuck in an elevator, and nothing seems to work after 15 min, HOLD the alarm button, or push it on and off. Few buzzes won't upset anyone, but continuous sound will.

If I was stuck in that elevator I would put scotch tape on the alarm bell until the elevator moved again and take the scotch tape off

For anyone that says that this is fake: THIS WAS STAGED, YET THE SWITCH WAS JAMMED
Each floor has 2 levels, named A and B, but the elevator is just numbered 1-7, on the B level. There are signs to the left saying 1B, 2B etc, and to the right 1A, 2A etc. and a small staircase (like 3 feet) to A. The 2 elevators (they're next to each other) are really sketchy and I don't really like riding them. The 7th floor (roof) is locked on the elevators and there's a big metal thing on the ramp between 6B and 7A. I walked to the roof before. It's open space, and the elevators are enclosed.
Well good thing thats why they normally put multiple elevators in a parking deck so if one stops working than theres a backup and you got lucky because there was the old fasioned stairs and the other elevator at the oppisite side

Andrew didn't realize that there was a phone box under the buttons and works.
There should be a phone in the elevator below were the buttons are. You'll see a black door and pull that black door.
Then you'll see a phone in there and call someone if its stuck again.

Things happen when elevators have trouble going up or down or they malfunction
Andrew the reason you got stuck so many times is because the stop switch was between stop and run.
@mgmanarpcd the keyhole did not turn. Look at the beginning of the video. He did not stop it.
Now I know why i don't like riding the elevators in the parking garage in my city, it's because they're Dovers, or at least I think they are. I saw some videos of Dover elevators, and the circular buttons with the small numbers are identical to the ones in the garage, so I'm fairly sure they're Dovers, and we all know how they can be. I'll have to double-check the next time I'm downtown.

it seems that you have an on off key to this and i used to do that to the school elevator and it was fun but try doing it to another elevator like an otis

I'm glad you decided not to get back on the elevator. If I were you I wouldn't have taken another ride lest I get stuck again and I'd rather not chance it

If you all didn't know every time the elevator stops he presses a button....Hes making it stop just listen when it stops
why does he do the exact same thing in both videos?? He knew the key thing wouldn't work from the first time, he doesn't have his phone again and he tries pressing the buttons again, yet he doesn't try jumping straight away??????
