    As a new badminton player, I really wish there was a guide from beginner to pro checklist of sorts, like step by step incremental growth so we know what to aim for. Beginner version of a clear, intermedia and pro version. Smash for other shots as well

    I hope this channel becomes one of the biggest on TH-cam! Some really good trustworthy content.
    Idea: Breakdown of service tactics in doubles, could split this into two videos discussing the server shot placement and the following preparation for the return shot AND a video from the receivers perspective focusing on preparation, shot options and anticipation.

    It's inspiring to see you guys put so much work into the channel! As a Malaysian follower I'm also thrilled to know that the giveaway is international! Some future video ideas from me would be racket reviews, footwork tutorials and especially professional game analysis. Badminton is such a quick sport and in my opinion the hardest one to analyse, because everything is so fast and involves extremely high skill levels

    I think I mentioned this in a previous post but I'd be cool to see a Q&A. I'm interested in learning how you both became top professionals and the hurdles and problems you overcame. How did you stay motivated with badminton and how did you know it was what you wanted to do full time? I have siblings who reached national level in their respective sports so it be intersting to compare different sports. Thanks :)

    Guys, what an informative video, as always
    Here is an idea:
    What if you made videos about Badminton Legends, their story, their play style, etc., because as far as I know there're rarely good videos about them, most just shown their game and not a deep dive into who they really are as a player.
    I know this will need an extensive research and video editing, but with your hard work and quality I'm sure you can pull it off. Also, for this kind of videos I guess once a month is enough

    That racket thrown sure brings back memories.😂 Some guy, on the court behind the court I was on, threw his racket over his net, over his opponent, & landed behind me just outside of the white line of the rear court of mine. It happened while I was running backward to decide if the shuttle was in or out. I was wondering why my friends were yelling. The guy came by to pick up his racket while laughing. There was no apology. I've had players from courts beside me thrown their rackets onto my court. They don't apologize; they laugh. And they expect us to pick up their racket for them.🤦‍♂️

    You two have great informational videos! Video idea: all about the technique for a good smash; everybody can play a smash but playing a good smash is rather difficult. You'll need good rotation in your upper body and in your core/waist. Maybe some exercises to practise those movements? Also maybe things like; what's the best hitting point of a smash or what smash to play at what time. Personally, I slice a lot of smashes unintentionally what results in lot less powerfull smashes. Maybe some tips against those "mistakes"? Thanks!
    English ain't my mothertongue so excuse me if I made some mistakes :)

    Love the channel! My video ideas are: mixed doubles tactics, common tactical mistakes (i.e. bad choice of shots in certain situations) and game analysis :)
    Also, if you guys ever had a chance to play with some synthetic feather shuttles, what are your thoughts on it ?

    • @BadmintonInsight
      @BadmintonInsight  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Lok, thank you very much for the ideas! Unfortunately the giveaway closed a while back now and the winner was announced on our doubles rotation video. As for your suggestions, we will be doing videos covering these in the next few months!
      We've played with 'synthetic feather' shuttles a few times yes, they still have a very different feel to feathers and are still not the most durable however it is something in which it looks like is going to come into the sport! They are definitely better than the conventional plastic shuttle that's for sure.

      @@BadmintonInsight Hi guys, thanks for the reply! I figured the giveaway finished but it's ok I'll be quicker next time! Interesting stuff for the shuttles, looking forward to your next videos :) Congrats to you guys on the world record and have some happy holidays!
