  • The Ndau are a Bantu ethnic group in the Zambezi valley, in central Mozambique to the coast and eastern Zimbabwe. In both countries, Ndau religious life is similarly predicated on continuing relationships between the living and the dead. A symbiotic relationship exists between the spirits and the living who are always inextricably, mutually and coherently integrated in a single cosmos

Sithole is a Zulu surname. It means he was adopted in to the ndau people you find the surname mostly in Zululand but it spread during the zulu expansion mission of Shaka Zulu and in the Zulu subgroups who currently are classified as independent Nguni groups the Swazi Later Swati due to their migration from zululand via mozambique engaging with the tsonga until the now Eswatini,Ndebele who are Zulu people who ended up in Zimbabwe. But during the Ndebele shona wars other Ndebele had to hide and convert themselves in to shona grouping wich the ndau are part of also shangaan being a hybreed nation of zulu Tsonga, ndau you find Zulu surnames there.
