In my sheer humility, I simply cannot fathom how Nihon Falcom can outdo itself time and time and time again. If Azure was a big deal, then so was CS III, and now Hajimari. I may never understand how they pull that off...
It's simple, that small company consist of people who have a love for what they think and doing. Kondo himself was an avid fan before recruited as a staff, and different for any AAA company game, they're consistent producing the games with their own pace and approach. They're not making a lot of profit comparing other companies and only in recent years Trails game finally got a hype in western. Still even with the hype nowadays, Trails fan base not much bigger as any other solid jrpg series such FF or Persona. even their 'low tier' experiment game quite decent and have insane world building (tokyo xanadu).
That's quite simple. They utilized the pain and suffering of their main characters to power their company. That's why they can create these masterpieces, which will in turn have their MCs suffer through multiple sad and painful backstories and moments... which then provides the company with power ad infinitum.

Let's be honest in term of story Trails are just too way better than FF. I'm rpg lover since childs (20+ years playing rpg until now) and FF is in low tier in term of story while Trails in God Tier. If it's world building story driven, Trails unbeatable. Gameplay is another story as the tastes are different from person to person. Don't mistake, I love FF gameplay, but not for story. Comparing Trails vs FF is just too blank. It's better comparing to Persona as the game have unique aspects in demonology lore world building.
@@zhugezhouliangyu509 I don't always appreciate the pacing and format of Trails games, but I always know they will have top-tier writing in them. Trails is easily top-class at story. They're not peerless storytellers though--their rival is Tetsuya Takahashi, at least for Xenogears and Xenosaga anyway. The first Xenoblade is pretty decent too for being a game that he intentionally focused on exploration over story. (I haven't played the other Xenoblade games 'cause I don't own a WiiU or a Switch.)
Oh boy Rean's hair has some kind of white streaks. This really is the beginning of the end for the series. Can't wait .But man those facials are good. And Towa and Arios is playable again . That all that I need
this is the segue for the last Kiseki game. Makes me wonder what they'll do after the Kiseki subseries.

閃の軌跡4のノーマルエンドとトゥルーエンドの世界が融合されてる感じがする、結社が融合するように仕向けて進んでいってるような気がする…
隠者であるCがどのように動き、ロイドやリィンに会ってどのようにかわるのか。まだ不明点が多いけど、ルーファスがなぜ最初の言動をしているのか、最後のリィンと向かい合ってるのは何なのか、呪いが起きていたような、クロスベル市民の黒いモヤはまだ黒の騎神に関係するのか……、Cの正体は何なのか、リィンに新しい力が出たようだけどどのような力なのか…楽しみ。
ロイドはクロスベル解放、リィンはヴァリマールがいなくなってからの話し、そして新キャラの話、本当に楽しみすぎる。
4でのリィンに対する盟主の行動を予想すると融合は多分想定外の副産物な気がする。
モーションと良い、表情の自由度が向上して、さらに進化した軌跡！！
ラピスとの邂逅でも左眼抑えて、時系列的に多分ノルドで新グラのリィンに変わる感じかな。その姿で新機甲兵の中で泣いていたのは、何でだろ。

If this is going to end up being a more polished version of what Suikoden 3 was trying to do then I might just cry.
im crying over here. the Merkabah??? that fucking scene where the SSS swoops into Orchis Tower is... SO well done. I thought the motion capture would be an improvement, but they went an extra mile. Rufus fighting C looks phenomenally well done too. Love the hint at what Nadia and Swin's dynamic is gonna be. Just... there's so much to unpack here I don't even know if I touched on 20% of it. Maybe I'm caught up in the hype but I feel like this is the best trailer Falcom has ever put out? I can't remember a better one anyway. Damn.
For a series with very heavy story, the cutscenes were usually dull to look at. But now key scenes look like they will be beautifully animated with actually good camera work.

• Ries attack on the demon in the fake La Locle
• Rean saving Alfin aboard the Pantagruel
• The Infernal Castle being summoned
• Duvalie Showing her True Power
and
• Victor and Olivert vs. McBurn
And most of these are still before the shift to 3D.

発売日が待ち遠しい。いつものことながらストーリーはめちゃくちゃ気になるけど、キャラクターの細かい動きが作り込まれてる

Trials games are criminally underrated compared to the over-hyped Persona games. More people should open their eyes and play a proper world-building game for once.
Oh please, I'm absolutely positive that you're some dumb redditor who didn't even know about Kiseki or the other Eiyu Densetsu games until about a year or two ago tops. Don't even try to pretend you're above Persona fans because they buy into 'hype'.

hajimari is gonna be fire man, it has a lot going on. Can't wait for this game localization in a few years
What intriguing me is, Hajimari supposed to ties a loose end that not resolved by the end of CS 4. It's like connecting sky, crossbell, and erebonia to new world. They did this in sky 3rd to connect sky with crossbell and divertissement chapter in CS 2 to connect crossbell with erebonia. But the trailer is not looks have a calm manner as any other connecting titles. In opposite, it's feel grandiose.

Next year nisa gonna focus on Ys 9, so expect its gonna release in west 2022 for ps4 2023 for pc
Why not just play it on release? lol they'll most likely be a full story translation within 2 months after this [happened for both CS3 & CS4] and considering there's been more demand for fan translations and more people have been helping it very well could have a lot more than just the main story.
nah, this'll come out Next Year. It's pretty Easy to See that Falcom is Stepping Up their game, as their getting more Popular & making more sales. CSIV is coming out Oct of this Year, I'd suspect that Ys9 will Drop Q1 Next Year, meaning that Hajimari will be advertised as soon as June or July, & I really wouldn't be Surprised for a Oct 2021 Release, but just my assumptions. Ppl seem to not understand that Falcom has gotten more Poppin, has a Bigger Fanbase and Kondo even stated his Plans...basically for Everything to Get Localized & I presume for their Future Games to Get Simul-Releases. Falcom Itself may be Small, but as they Grow, they can have 2 or 3 Localization Companies in the West to Localize, I wouldn't be Surprised if in 2-4 yrs from now Falcom did Simul-Releases in Japan & the West, they've been making Power Moves, so It Is what It Is. I Expect Hajimari no Later then Early 22' but I'd Expect It Oct 2021
